Walking by yourself toward something that attracted your attention, you realize you've gone deeper into the forest. "Aw...that wasn't suppose to happen!" you say.
Kicking the ground, you hit a rock and yell out in pain (you hit your big toe).
You jump on the spot, when you suddenly stand very still — What was that?
Out of the corner of your eye, you see the same shadow that made you shiver and stand still. It looked like a bird... but was it?
It could have been anything. Well, not anything, it fluttered didn't it? Yup, it must have been a bird.
You hear the fluttering again and turn slowly on the spot. There's something on those bushes over there, but it's too dark in the forest to see what it is. Squinting, you make out some sort of nest. Your gaze drifts downward and you see a pair of beetle-like eyes reflected in the dim moonlight that reaches the forest bottom.
