You say: Why the heck did you this?

Well, it is probably obvious that I am loyal to the Knights. I mean, with a name like KnightRC, you gotta accept that person to be a Knight. Really, when I came into the game, I had no idea there was a Knights Guild, I just picked a name (Knight) I thought appopriate for the theme, and RC, my initials.

Eventually, I made my way into the Knights and joined up. Probably when I joined, everyone just thought me to be just another newbie. But a select few actually helped out, and that's where my respect for the Knights started. Although a few have moved on, luckily for me, some of them have stayed.

Of course, I am very biased towards the Knights, so I find them to be the best guild. (Just remember what follows are my opinions). Knights are probably the most sane guild. Language is kept down a bit, so you won't find too many angry bastards here. Knights are extremely helpful (at times) and made up of nice people. Sure, you got that in other guilds, but I feel the Knights have the majority.

Anyways, in my boredom, I started having ideas of making a Knights Guild page. I was influenced by the Black Bear Den, since it seemed to be a good page, and I felt that the Knights should have their own. It was my idea from the start. So, I asked Fortuna (who had previous web page making experience) if he wanted to support the project. He agreed to it, and the start of the Knights Page was made.

But we were two lazy people. At least me, Fortuna was busy with his life. I would know, I saw him every day. So, no real html files were made for a long time. We would talk and bat around ideas, but never get anything down on paper.

It went like that for a few months. Eventually Fortuna got something up. I lost the address, but it was very early. However, it formed the basis for the Knights Page you see now. Originally, I planned to be the content creator (I played the game longer than Fortuna), while Fortuna took over the web page creation jobs (he made really good pages).

The summer came, and communication between us was lost. We would still talk about the page, but even less got done. And, I was going through my own problems, so the Knights Page became less of an issue. I tried to spurn some interest in the page, but no really cared, so I felt the Knights didn't need a page.

After school had started, I found Oblique had posted a message stating his interest for looking for people who wanted to help on the Knights Page. He made a deal with Fortuna (something I never heard about) about providing server space for it. But, Fortuna had become absent from the game, so Oblique was looking for other people. I talked to him about it, and we got some sort of deal done. He would provide the space for it, and I had to do the pages.

The problem? The latest HTML I knew was 2. Pretty sad to today's standards. So, I did my best, I used the little HTML experience I had and made a somewhat decent page. I was unimpressed by it though. And I knew I couldn't do this alone, so I advertised for people who wanted to help out.

And very lucky for me, and person named Sia responded. She took over Fortuna's place, and was the co-webmaster. At first, I doubted her abilities, I only knew her for a few weeks at this time. But my doubts were erased quickly. She took an active role and seemed interested in the page, something I didn't get before.

I kept working on the page, and got some pages up. I did my best to make it look nice, even grabbing some images from Magic: The Gathering CCG, and finished up on some pages. I posted them on my defunct xoom account (another failed project between me and Fortuna) and allowed Sia to look.

She said it looked nice. Now it was her turn to work her magic. Since I didn't really have an idea what she should do, I let her revise the pages. I was hoping for a Thanksgiving release for the page, but at this point, it was way too late.

So, Sia sent me the new pages. She had toned it down a little bit.  She also introduced a more "in-character" theme for the page. I wanted to keep it real, but if she felt that we needed more role playing in the page, I was one to disagree. She also introduced a better organization system, where each section had its own folder, making everything nice and tidy.

I finished up on the page, adding The Armory and my office and making the rest of the page cleaner. And now, my creation, which has taken so long to get finished, is!

You say: Whatever happened to that Fortuna guy now?

Um, he's alive and well. Although he doesn't have too much of an active role in the site, I try to keep in contact with him and stay friends. It's not like I hate him because he doesn't help, I would feel the same if he did.

You say: Did you ever feel like giving up?

Plenty of times. No one really cared for a long time, so I felt there was no reason. But hopefully, the Knights will look upon this with respect. I hope.

You say: Did you ever get official backing?

Nah, no AA big-wigs really told me to continue/stop this. This was all me, and well and some others.

You say: And how come there aren't any pictures of the creator on the site?

Oh god no. You wouldn't want to see some Asian guy who doesn't get enough sleep every night. The probably picture you can get of me, is when I am sleeping. In any case, I don't have a scanner. Care to send me one?

You say: Anyone you want to thank?

Good questions. Probably first off the Black Bears for making me want to do a guild web page. I respect them completely, plus they did have the first guild page up. I just followed after :) Who else? Fortuna (wherever he is) for listening to me talk about the page every single day I saw him. The Knights Guild for being around and so damn good that I would feel like making a page about them. Oh, and can't forget Sia for really helping out. Without her, this page wouldn't exist (and if it did exist, it would suck, believe me).

You say: Any hidden agendas?
