These are only some of the creatures you might stumble upon on the roads of the Empire and beyond. These will be fairly helpful, Lawful typically describing an Elf who gives directions or a wandering healer and so on.
Anari: Small in stature, these wood-dwelling humanoids will often help humans find their way through forests, but they are wary and mindful of larger beings' destructive power. They are a minor magical race, and their tribal wizards often gather together in conclaves. They can easily ward the path from enemies, who stumble around for aeons unless they are fortunate enough to reach the edge of the woods.
Dryads: Dryads are reputed to be creatures in tune with the woods and the very trees themselves. They have no brute strength, but use magics of nature itself to shroud paths away from any would-be destroyer. They are wary of humans or dwarves, fearing their destructive nature, but are great friends and allies to the Elves. They appear to sympathise particularly with those Half-Elves who have been forced from their tribal life.
Dwarves: Are covered in greater detail here.
Elves: Are covered in greater detail here.
Far'duan: A mythical and almost extinct race, said to dwell on the highest peaks of the eastern mountains of Urgak. They are an ancient and proud race, in appearance slightly larger than humans, but their definintive feature is their wings, not unlike those of the beasts of the air. They have the powers of flight, and their sorcerers are reputed to be puissant indeed. They prefer javelins and bows to hand to hand weapons in general.
Gnomes: Are covered in greater detail here.
