Daily Schedule
This is our farms daily schedule.
7:00: Remove/Change any sheets or blankets. Check over the horses quickly. Mix feed, feed them and give water.
8:00: Turn out horses, groom as they go out.
9:00 - 12:00: Ride horses, work with the foals
12:00: Feed hay and grain to the horses in the paddock
1:00: Clean stalls
1:50 - 5:00: Ride horses, work with the foals
5:00-6:00: Clean the tack room, tack, feed room, barn aisles, do paperwork, etc. Also put feed and water in each stall.
6:00-Bring horses in, give a quick grooming as they come in, put on sheets/blankets
7:00: Lock up and goodnight
Turnout schedules:
The foals go out all day in 6 acre paddocks together with 2 mares
The mares go out together during the day in 4 acre paddocks
The stallions go in 2 acre paddocks individually during the day
The show horses go out in 4 acre paddocks if there fillies or mares or geldlings, and if there colts or stallions they go in individual 2 acre paddocks during the day
