Magic Lock Bullets
Magic Lock Bullets are made by
Sorcerous Armaments, Inc. and are designed to help magic-users.
Basically, the Magic Lock functions as a magic intensifier and
locater. When a person has these weapons in them, the following
things happen:
- All radius effect spells
cast by the mage have double effect to those hit.
Example: A mage hits a man 150 feet away with a Magic
Lock Bullet. He then casts Realm of Chaos. The enemy
laughs, knowing that Realm of Chaos' radius effect range
is 100 feet. However, he gets pulled into the Realm, as
to him, the radius is 200 feet!
- All spells can be cast ON
the bullet. That means that the focal point of Fire 3,
Lit 3, Explosion, and so on, will be INSIDE the bullet.
Meaning that the enemy gets hit probably under his skin,
greatly lowering regular defenses' ability to cope.
- All "firing"
spells, like Fireball or a Lightning Blast, move twice as
fast and are twice as accurate for those launching an
attack at the victim.
- Any clairvoyance
abilities, magic sensory powers, and so on, will be able
to "see"/detect the victim of a Magic Lock
Bullet.
- Magic Lock Bullets lower
the chance to save by -1 (of 20); this is NOT cumulative
per bullet.
Cost: 5000 GP;
VERY specialized and expensive. Armor-Piercing get 6000, Rocket
Propelled 7500. Shotgun shells add 50%. A grenade is like a
fragmentation grenade and costs 50,000 GP.
