Surprise!!!

Hey, where did everyone go? Damn Sims! Don't plat that game I tell ya, it's the devil!!! *sighs* Bah, I guess we're back to start again. It's been a mere... *counts on fingers* 3 months, and the trafic's alread back down to a big 0. Well thanks guys. Now you're talking about loyalty. Humph! What's three months in a moronic gamer's life?... Damn, it's a friggin' eternity!!! *bursts into tears* Snif!... Yea, I missed y'all too folks! But I must admit that with my PC and, mostly, my girl *waves to sweetie* , time went by rather fast. So fast that I'm now back at the beginning of the cycle, about to attack my second despairing university term. Bah, it doesn't look so bad. Well it shouldn't. Anyway.
Well I finally got into 3d modelling with 3ds max 4.

Wait a minute! I'll get ya a picture of what I've done so far in the tutorials.

There ya go. Actually I kind of mixed several tutorials I found on the net with the ones that came with 3ds max 'cause some files were missing (like texture bitmaps and stuff). Looks tasty, doesn't it? ;) I guess it's not bad considering I've only used primitives and procedural textures (except for the apple leaf). That means only basic shapes like spheres upon which are applied successive modifiers. Also, the textures ain't bitmaps, but rather a combination of pre-programmed effects. Rather hardcore for a first contact with modelling, but I think it gives better results than an applied bitmap. Don't you think? *winks*
Alright, I think that's enough for now. I'll go see the nearby computer store's prices on memory. Take care guys!
