I've had many jobs in my life, all of them having to do something with animals. My most recent job was dog trainer, until I hurt my back and was unable to do it anymore. I would love to work at either the San Diego Zoo, the Rodger Williams Zoo, or Seaworld.
My roleplaying. I've been roleplaying in one form or another for years now, though I only got into PBeM's in the last year. I started it as a way to hammer out characters for use in my stories, and got hooked. Many of my characters can be found in original stories, and two show up in my novel. (No, I'm not going to say who.) In RP, the characters become real. Their personalities flush out, as do their thoughts and ideals. Characters, though roleplaying, have gone from small bit players to focal points.
You want to know more? I'm an American female, I own a dog and a cat, and my favorite book is the Elvenbane. (Though the entire Discworld Series and the Harry Potter books as a close second.) My favorite movie is Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. It is the most amazing piece of cinema I have ever seen. Then comes Snatch, and Rocky Horror. I also love independant films...Curtis' Charm was pretty darn good. And Hitchcock. Strangers on a Train is my favorite.
But that's not really saying much is it? How much can I really get across with nothing but written words and pictures? I'm considering putting a guestbook and letting people ask questions. :-) I have a good collection of friends whom I love dearly, and I trust my best friend with my life. But they're all leaving! Judy is in Georgia now, and Kay is in Ohio. Thank goodness for Eric...
I'm making new friends! Friends kick ass! Nate....my beautiful Nate is the best! And of course Jared. I am still looking for a job, but I'm not too worried. Okay, I am. But I have always gotten by, so I am sure it will be all right.
I had a bad thing happen. Okay, I had a lot of bad things happen. One girl I know died, and another was just convicted of murder. I am a bit of a mess right now, and just looking for the light in life. I am holding out for that one good thing to happen, and Goddess willing it will be here soon.
I like to think of myself as an intellectual and nonconformist But it's hard to be a nonconformist in these days, when everyone's doing it. Well, that's really all I can think of right now.
