1. Appropriate Forums: Please keep In Character (IC) posts to IC boards, and Out of Character (OOC) posts to OOC boards. Each forum has a purpose, please post appropriately. Any post pertaining to a different forum will be moved appropriately.

1. Continuity: All material must be consistent with the continuity of Norrath and Everquest. Along these lines, please refrain from soliciting any real life political, religious, or otherwise biased views.
2. Powerposing: Please refrain from using the player characters (PCs) and non player characters (NPCs) which other users of these forums have created without first obtaining their permission. This practice is known as powerposing, and is a quick path to upsetting someone. Verant-created NPCs, however, by all known accounts, are fair game.
3. Unpermitted: Graphic depictions of rape, sexualized violence, or consentual sexual situations, and extended depictions of mutilation or torture will not be allowed in stories posted here. If a story is found to include any of these elements, a moderator will remove it, and save a copy with the passages in violation quoted. If possible, the author will be contacted, and asked to edit the story appropriately for re-posting.
4. Disclaimers: Any story containing implied rape, sexualized violence, consentual sexual situations, or brief depictions of torture, mutilation, or other grotesque violence must include the word ADULT, in caps, preceding the title (i.e. ADULT: A Night in Neriak). The story should also include a brief disclaimer at the very beginning of the post that defines what types of adult themes it contains. Any post containing said themes without the proper disclaimers will be edited by a moderator to include them. On the same token, by choosing to view any post containing a disclaimer, you state that you are doing so knowledgably and willfully, and that you are not offended by this type of material. Neither the owner and moderators of these forums, nor the members of the guild Sanhedrin hold any responsibility for the material herein. Read at your own risk.

1. Flaming: All opinions are welcome, as long as they are presented in a calm and reasonable manner. Posts that contain material aimed at public defamation, libel, or other personal attacks will be locked. Locked topics may be restarted, provided that they are done so in a calm and reasonable manner.
