In memoriam of Dayna Jeanette (1990-2000)

This shrine is dedicated to the memory of one beagle who touched the lives of three lucky people for a short period of time. Her name was Dayna Jeanette, but for those who loved her, she was DJ.

This picture was taken while she was just a pup. The lighting's all bad and she looks a bit mad, but she never was a mean dog to anyone, not even a cat.

Super Beagle!

Another early year portrait of DJ in her puppy years. We dressed her up on Halloween with a red cape from my early childhood. It looked so adorable.

This one was taken in her midlife. You can see that we provided her with a ton of toys and chewtoys. It reminds me of her first Christmas. We had bought her a little rawhide basket filled with chewtoys. On Christmas morning, she knew what was hers as she walked in, picked up her basket in her mouth and wandered off. She loved her toys and I never tired of playing tug rope with her.
