I know how much you mean to me,
But obviously I don't mean shit.

You said it was forever.
Do you know just how long that is?
Did you think we'd stay together?
Let me ask you something,
Tell me, do you know?
How badly that you broke my heart,
When you said I had to go?
You then said that you're sorry,
Told me that it's not my fault.
Did you honestly expect me
To grind my feelings to a halt?
I love you so damn much
That it hurts me deep inside.
Those things you did to hurt me
Opened harsh wounds wide.
But yet somehow I love you still,
And in you I trust.
But is it truly love,
Or pure and simple lust?
