Red Ribbon Army Ranks


Commander Red- The original commander of the Red Ribbon Army. He is considerably shorter than his assistant and others. Thinking Red wants the dragon balls to wish for world domination, his followers seek out the mystical spheres and gets involved in the life of Goku, who is eventually the cause of their downfall. Commander Red's real intentions to use the dragon balls to wish to be taller is soon revealed and he is killed by his assistant, Black.





Assistant Black- He eventually shoots Commander Red and takes over command of the Red Ribbon Army when he finds out that his leader doesn't have the same intentions for the dragon balls as he thought. It is not long after this event that Goku destroys the ranks of the army.





General Blue- Fights Goku near Penguin Village. Arale steps in and defeats him. Blue is killed by Tao Pai Pai shortly after for loosing this battle and failing to recover the dragon balls.





General Copper- Commands Yellow, Silver and Violet to search out the dragon balls for him. He intends to present them to Commander Red himself and take credit for their recovery.





General White- Dictating Android 8, Purple, Metallic and Buyon, General White commands over Muscle Tower. After threatening and causing havoc in a small village, Goku enters Muscle Tower and makes his way through all of White's men. In the end, Android 8 turns on him and knocks him from the tower.





Captain Yellow- He searched out the dragon ball for his commander, Copper, but doesn't appear very often and plays a minor roll.





Captain Violet- Only female that holds a high rank in the Red Ribbon Army. She recovers one dragon ball but, like Yellow, she plays a minor roll.





Captain Silver- Heads up the search for the Dragon Balls. This gets Goku involved and leads to the downfall of the Red Ribbon Army. Goku fights Silver and wins, getting a dragon ball that Silver had found.





Buyon- Goku encounters this huge monster in Muscle Tower. Goku punches a hole in the wall of the tower and freezes Buyon when the cold air hits him.





Sergeant Purple- Very knowledgeable and tricky, he fights against Goku in Muscle tower but soon sees that he is no match for him. He is defeated by Goku when he unleashes Android 8 and commands him to destroy the boy. Android 8 refuses and Purple threatens to destroy him unless he obeys. Goku, seeing the android is not threat, knocks Purple out before he can carry out his threat.





Metallic- Goku also encounters Metallic in Muscle Tower. He is a large muscular robot/android. Goku is able to defeat him when Metallic's energy drains from his batteries and it stops him in the middle of an attack.





Android 8- Created by Dr Gero, this android is the first in a long line of more powerful androids. He encounters Goku and is commanded to fight him by Purple. Android 8 has no desire to fight against anyone and refuses. Purple then threats to blast Android 8 if he does not follow orders and destroy Goku. Luckily, Goku defends the android and takes care of Purple. Android 8 gives up his dragon ball and accompanies Goku up to the next level of Muscle tower. When White attempts to take care of Goku himself, Android 8 knocks him though the wall of the tower and sends him plummeting to his death.





Other

Tao Pai Pai- Although not a member of the Red Ribbon Army, he does do some mercenary work for them. He kills Blue with his tongue and does battle Goku. He is eventually defeated by Goku and killed.





Dr. Gero- The original creator of all the androids in the series. He soul purpose in life is to get revenge on Goku.
