Hey Gogeta! Here's some answers for ya:

Q. You said you were working at a radio station before you did the voice of Gohan, what made you decide to go to the FUNimation audtions?

A. I heard about auditions at Funimation through my radio job.
I had been trying to find contact information for a good six months before I just randomly heard from coworkers that there auditions coming up. So I was excited beyond belief!

Q. How did you feel after you were chosen out of the many many other audtioners?

A. It was a dream come true, and I couldn't sleep that night. It was a definite high point in my life. I called all my friends and family and was bouncing off the walls.

Q. How do you think your fans will feel when after the last episode of Dragonball Z ends, and what will you do afterwards?

A. It will be sad to see Z end, however we will immediately jump into GT. But remember, that won't hit the public until 2003!

Q. What are your top 5 favorite animes excluding Dragonball and Blue Gender?

A. In no particular order: Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, Evangelion, and Gundam.

Q. When you were growing up did you like to immitate characters from shows you watched?

A. I'd always imitate the late, great Mel Blanc, who singularly voiced all the classic Warner Bros. cartoons. Then I started imitating movies, tv, commercials. I grew up also wanting to get into radio, so I used to play DJ. After over 10 years in radio, I heard about auditions at Funimations, and crossed over into voice work.

Q. You do the voice of Gohan, Pikkon, and West Kai. How did you feel doing 3 characters? (My favorite voice out of those 3 is Pikkon)

A. I actually do 4. You forgot the Narrator! I think my Narrator is the weakest of the bunch, but I'm very flattered that I was asked to assume such a vital and recurring role! Gohan is a blast to do because of his wide range of emotions. When you meet him as a teenager, he's a total dork. Over time, you see that he's a force to be reckoned with. I also love Gohan, obviously because he's such a major character. Pikkon was fun because I got to do my Scott McNeil (original VA for Piccolo) imitation. But my all time fave to do on the show, because he's so cartoony, was West Kai. I combined the sound of Droopy and Cartman. He was so over the top and I wish he'd come back along with Pikkon.

Q. Is FUNimation going to try and keep the lines the same from now on or is this just a one time thing?

A. There is an effort within Funimation to remain more faithful to the original work from here on out. The fans have demanded it, and they deserve it.

Q. Do you know when any of the later movies are coming out other than Movie 5 and Movie 6? And who will you be playing as?

A. I don't know about release dates for any movies past 5 (Kooler's Revenge). None have been announced or even recorded yet. I tried out for numerous roles on Movie 5, but didn't get anything. Let's hope for better luck next time.

Q. Will you ever work for other companies other FUNi such as Pioneer?

A. Pioneer uses dubbing houses out of Los Angeles, and I live in Dallas, Texas...about 45 minutes away from Funimation headquarters. I am under contract with them, and will gladly stay as long as they will have me. They are the only anime dubbing house close to me. ADV Films is out of Houston, but its a 5 hour drive. They, as well as any company, only use local actors.

Q. Do you think FUNi will re-dub season 3 because the lines were completly changed or will they not even touch it and say "What's done has been done."?

A. It wouldn't make financial sense to go back and rerecord everything that's been done. Every move Funimation makes has to meet with strict approval from Dragonball's original owners in Japan, the company called Toei. Censorship and broadcast standards are different here than they are in Japan. Compromises must be made so it can show on television. Its kind of a necessary evil. Funimation wanted DBZ to reach as wide an audience as possible, and with that goal in mind, changes simply had to be made.

Q. What is it like working for FUNimation and the people who work there?

A. I'm having the time of my life doing voices for Funimation. I go in for a couple hours a week and everybody's very cool and laid back. Its okay if you mess up a line and crack jokes. I've never met a more friendly and professional bunch of people. I feel extraordinarily blessed!

Q. Do you like working at FUNimation?

A. See above. Heheheh.

Q. How long were you working at the radio station before you went to the audtions for FUNi?

A. I was in radio in general since 1989. (yes, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth). I'm the ripe old age of 32! Luckily I had been getting a lot of practice doing character voices for commercials and such.

Q. Who is the nicest person at FUNi? the meanest?

A. I work most directly with Chris Sabat, my voice director who happens to be Vegeta/Piccolo/Yamcha. But everyone up there is totally cool. There's no tension or weird vibes. Its been wonderful!

Q. Will you be doing the voices of any character from Dragonball GT when FUNimation dubs it?

A. I hope to be Gohan in GT, although I understand he has a small part, so I will audition for other roles. I do bit parts on all of Funimation's series. So I'm not worried about not being used.

Q. When did you first start watching anime?

A. I was probably about 8 when I watched shows such as Speed Racer, Battle of the Planets, and Star Blazers.

Q. What was your most favorite anime growing up?

A. See above. Heheheh

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. My favorite aspect of working on DBZ is fulfilling my lifelong dream of doing voices for animation. I hope to expand into the realm of animated features one day for Disney or Dreamworks, and maybe some onscreen stuff too.

Hope this helps, my friend! Make sure ya plug the site here when ya post these!
