Android/Cell Saga- Android 18 makes her first appearance in the lab of Dr. Gero as she is released from her capsule. Although beautiful, she is also deadly. Her first battle is against Vegeta and although the Saiyan warrior gets in some good hits, Android 18 shows him that she is much more powerful as she at first toys with him and then breaks his arm. Krillin questions them about their motives and begs then not to go after Goku. It is then that Android 18 kisses him on the cheek. One thing that does not seem to change from the Future Trunks Time Line and the alternate one is that Android 18 is very interested in clothing and she spends time shopping, walking out of the store and not paying. She goes along with her brother, although she doesn't always like his ideas. When Cell threatens the group, Android 18 seems to be changing her attitude. She seems to care for Android 16, concerned about his injuries and hides with him from Cell. Krillin, although terrified of her power, realizes that he has fallen in love with her and can not deactivate her when he has the chance. Unfortunatly, Android 18 is spotted and Krillin makes an attempt to get her away. This attempt is stopped and when is threatened by Cell, Krillin, although outmatched, attempts to protect her. Android 18 knows that she is no match for Cell but bravely tries to fight him.

Android of Future Trunks Time Line- She is much more agressive and shows no care about anything other than having fun and shopping. She beats Trunks during their first meeting in the Trunks Special and takes great pleasure again later when they meet before he travels to the future. Later, when Trunks returns more powerful, she is easily killed by him.

Android 18 eventually marries Krillin and has a daughter, Marron. She cuts her hair and because she is still a very powerful fighter participates against other fighters, including the disguised Goten and Trunks in the Budoukai. She is very smart and makes a deal with Mr. Satan, if she lets him win, he will give her the money from the tournament.
