Farewell...

AH! IT'S GONE! ALL GONE! Well, yes, unfortunately that is true... but your characters are NOT dead! You can take them to Etreus! It's a decent site, though admittedly not the glory that was Pern. However, Pern was against Anne's rules and terribly inactive and so... We had to shut it down. But I've done all I can to make Etreus as good a replacement as humanly possible. You can remain human, or perhaps go Takothe or even try CoinShifting. All fun, all new.
But why, you ask, did you give an Active Check right before you shut down our Pern? Well the Active Check was so you would know what characters you might bring to Etreus. So feel free to click there and see who you might bring.
Also, I must ask you not to go to any of the old Pernese boards that you may have in a Favorites folder. I realize it's hard, but you need to let them go. I will eventually be giving these boards away to RPG creators who need them, but until then, they must remain inactive. The site is dead, and even though the boards remain in existance, please, please, please do not use them. Pern, for now, is gone.
I leave you with the fact that perhaps, some day, I will try to remake Pern according to Anne's rules and regulations. If this happens, I promise to notify all of you, and once again Dragons will fly over this glorious planet.
