Weapons strategy
THAT ARE EFFECTIVE!!!
Okay! First things first! All of you want rares!
You know! Those weapons with Yellow names! Yeah!
SPREAD NEEDLE
Like that! Anyways, few people know that the best
weapons are some of the regualr ones!
A few key things to look for are the following
- monster-type damage percentages! (%)
- ATP/MST/ATA increasing weapons!
- Max-grinding abilities!
- Special Attacks and what they do!
- Area and range of attacks!
- Attack speeds!
- Number of attacks!
"Vince? Are you smokin low-quality Crack?" you ask?
Well, maybe... but then again, i am serious!
Good weapons are the weapons that are most
helpful to you and your gameplay style!
>> HUNTERS <<
HUNTERS are my favorite group. This is because they
are well rounded and can kick much ass!
I am a HUmar that loves heavy damage and
constantly uses magic!! What kind of weapon do I
use? Well... here are the items I LOVE to use!
Spirit Calibur (30/20/0/45)
(the TP draining attack is SUPER STRONG!)
BERSERK CALIBUR (0/20/0/45)
(the HP draining attack is SUPER STRONG!)
FLOWEN'S SWORD (/0/60/60/60)
(steals TP and has wde attack coverage!)
DRAGON SLAYER (0/60/60/60)
(this thing is just plain power!)
King's Calibur (0/0/0/0)
(hey, stealing LOTSA experience is FUN!!)
LAST SURVIVOR (0/35/-30/0)
(steals HP, ideal weapon for Androids!)
SPREAD NEEDLE (0/60/60/60)
(paralyzes all and a strong spread, cheap!!)
OROTIAGITO (0/60/60/60)
(only for the skilled users! this weapon ROCKS!)
DOUBLE SABER
(the TP stealing comes in MIGHTY useful!)
M&A60 VISE (60/0/60/60)
(rapid strong attacks in small intervals!
Possibly the most damaging weapon in PSO!
the HP reducing attack is INCREDIBLE!)
Well, that's basically all the weapons I use...
there are a lot of others, but in my opinion
The most damaging weapon is PSO has got to be the
M&A60 VISE. When I use this weapon, not even my
HIGH POWERED SHOGUN/DAIMYO ONLY weapons can match
it in terms of pure power! Each shot does about 500+
damage! The machine gun types shoot out
3 shots per attack!
500 x 3 x 3 = 4500!!
But I do understand that most usrs of the weapon miss!
In theory, this weapon, coupled with SHIFTA and A
HIGH ATP increasing MAG, will give you the ultimate
POWER weapon. There is a lag however.... I suggest
developing a strategy when using these weapons.
The smartest way to use a weapon is FAR better
than some who uses it without strategy!
There are three main weapons for HUNTERS to use
Calibur-types are the most useful when you want
a hard and group smashing game, such as solo games.
In group games, you can use the sword types or
weapons that hit single enemies. You can also
take the cheap path and go for the SPREAD NEEDLE.
Overall, HUNTERS have to be the frontline, and a
Calibur type will do VERY well!
>> RANGERS <<
Basically, Rangers can follow the same strategy of
the hunter. They do have an advantage however!
This advantage comes in the form of range! Many
Ranger weapons are ranged based. At the same time
They are able to use spread-type weapons early in
the game! The rifles are also a great plus! Long
distance shots keep the enemy at a safe distance and
you may never need to get too close for
comfort! I suggests Rangers to use spread type
weapons when playing online or in a group!
This ensures that the ranger can damage all enemies
and get experience extremely quickly!
On another note,
I dont have a Ranger, so I cannot accurately place a specific
strategy for Rangers!
>> FORCES <<
Forces are fun to play! At first they are a pain
in the booty! But at later levels, around the 20's,
and if some of your friends help you out, a
force can be friggin' fun to play! I have a
level 24 force that can rip everything too shreds!
How? well.. its a little bit of trickery and ingenuity
on my part! My force has magic in the levels of
12 and higher! How is that possible? Certain weapons
give you a boost in MST and MAGS can increase MST
Heavily! So with the use of these items, and a few
god/abilities and god/minds and with a 4 slot armor
I was able to have my force learn all the high level
spells! Once learning the spells, you can take off
these items. There will be no consequence, only
that you have now learned HIGH level spells!
The following are weapons I suggest Forces to use!
DOUBLE SABER
(the ability to steal TP is good, and it looks kewl!)
VARISTA
(TAG then stand back and uses this thing!)
HOLY RAY
(same as a VARISTA, but matches a Force!)
PSYCHO WAND
(use any magic, but its random!)
ANYTHING THAT STEALS TP!!
(face it, forces MUST have TP!)
On a seperate note, Forces should not be in the
frontlines. For the most part, forces are too weak
to be able to defend themselves in a group of enemies.
The force weapons contribute to this theory as well. But this is not to say that they
can't get ANY experience if they support!
A Force has the opportunity to get ALL the experience in battle!
This technique is known as TAGGING.
If a force has already learned a spell such as,
Gifoie, Gizonde, Rafoie, Razonde, and Rabarta,
the force character is in the best shape.
With these techniques, all they have to do is run
around and amass the enemies in a group. Ths
can be done by running around the room and having
the monsters chase you! once you feel they are
packed together enough, turn and hit the group
With one of the aforementioned spells! This will
TAG all the monsters and no matter if you kill
them or your allies kill them, the force will always
gain experience! This comes in especially
useful in the later levels such as MINES and RUINS.
That about wraps it up here, until I get a ranger
to find out some strategies for them! Okay!
SEE YA!!
