Cloud Strife is an Ex-SOlDIER who has a very dark and mysterious past. All he can remember are fragmented images of missions from SOLDIER and Tifa, a childhood friend. He remembers being different though. He was infused with the Mako and JENOVA-cells, becoming a perfect fighting machine.

On his journey, he meets up with others and becomes goood friends. They teach him many things, including how to open up and show his feelings. A particular Flower Girl is the one person who finally gets Cloud to open up. They do many things together including Chocobo Racing, dates, and even visit the Golden Saucer numerous times.
