The affect armor use has on your guild skill MAvA is pretty simple to understand. Every armor type (Unless it's full leather or lighter) gives a specific amount of MAvA when worn by someone with no armor training at all. This is what I call the base MAvA of the armor. As a person trains in armor, this amount of MAvA is lowered. Every 10 skill a person gains in armor use (rounded to the nearest 10), lowers their MAvA by 1 .

The equation for it is this: [round(Armor use skill)/10] - Base armor MAvA = MAvA. So basically, you round your armor use skill to the nearest 10, and then divide that by 10, and then subtract that number from the base MAvA of the armor you're wearing, and voila! Thas yer MAvA.

Below are the base MAvA's for each armor type:

Armor type MAvA
Clothing
Robes, jerkins, pants, etc. 0

Leather
Light leather 0
Full leather 0
Reinforced Leather 10
Double Leather 15

Scale
Leather Breastplate 5
Cuirbouilli Leather 10
Studded Leather 15
Brigandine armor 15

Chain
Chain Mail Armor 10
Double Chain Mail Armor 15
Augmented Chain mail armor 25
Chain Hauberk 25

Plate
Metal Breastplate 15
Augmented Breastplate 20
Half plate armor 35
Full plate armor 45

Here's an example of how it works: Say you have 124 armor use skill and you are wearing chain hauberk. The base MAvA for hauberk is 25. 124 rounded to the nearest 10 is 120, so ye divide 120 by 10, which is 12. Then you subract that from the base MAvA. So yer MAvA in hauberk would be 13 (25 - 12).

So, in order to wear full plate with 0 MAvA, you would need 445 skill in armor use (345 ranks). 445 rounded to the nearest 10 is 450, which comes to 45 when divided by 10. The base MAvA for full plate is 45, so ye subtract 45 from that, which of course is 0.
