No one knows when exactly Kavinnes was created, but many speculate that it was before the Eurasia Incident, these claims verified by records during that time.

Kavinnes was rescued by the 14th Unit during a Limited Maverick assault near Neo Tokyo. After the incident, she stayed with the Mavericks Hunters, thinking about joining. However, many didn't trust her, she seems to be somewhat sly and crafty and at times loud and obnoxious. She enjoys pestering X and Zero, but mostly Magma Dragoon. Even her name seems to fit her, since some say it if elven for 'Storm-hearted dragon'.

After the Limited Maverick War, Kavinnes officially joined the Maverick Hunters. Her primary weapon is a saber made of an unknown alloy, which can be engulfed in flames upon her command. Her secondary weapon is a Buster Cannon.

There are many speculations that Kavinnes and Dragoon are seeing each other, but the subject is never touched upon by either. However, this rumor is strengthened by Kavinnes' strange shift in personality and her sudden joining to the Hunters and requesting to be placed in the 14th. She had even left the Hunters after Dragoon had left, but rejoined with Dragoon after the Exodus.
