Saiyan Rules

Saiyan Rules for Marvel RPG

A Saiyan is a character who is an alien, but a humanoid who looks like a man, but
has the power to gain physical advances after being injured. Saiyans also
transform under the full moons light if they still have a prehensile, monkey-
like tail, this is form is called Oozara. Then there is the legendary, and
hard to become Super-Saiyan.

Saiyan character rules
Saiyans have what is called a power level, and this is denotated by a stat
that will be labled under the Known Powers section of a character. This Stat
is at least GD10 to begin with, and has a minimum that it will be (on chart
number 1) which is in accordance with it's power level. A Saiyan character can
gather up to this amount of his power points (the number=his power level,) to put
into a learned move. The points used in this way are then subtracted from the
power level. When he has been damage while unpowered, his damage comes off of his
life instead of his powerlevel. If he wishes to powerup while not at full life,
he loses power points so that it is consistent with his current health (eg., if
he loses 50% of his life and then tries to power up, he is only at 50% of his power.)

When a Saiyan takes damage while powered up, he takes the damage, doubles it, and
subtracts it from his powerlevel. This is considered a form of damage soaking as
the character does not necessarily become hurt.

When a character wishes, he may spend a turn to "Power up," this will instantly
grant him the abilities given to him according to chart 1. When a character loses
enough to points to drop him down to the next power level on chart 1, he does so if:
he has been damaged and this power level is at a new rank, or he takes enough damage
to drop him to this new rank, thus, if he uses his points to do a power stunt with
his points, and this brings him down to a different power level on chart 1, he does
not lose his abilities/stats given to him by that power level until he is damaged.
The number of power points that a character has also acts as his life while powered up.
Powering up to a level beyond Super Saiyan level 1 takes much more time than
normally powering up to any level up to Super Saiyan.

Saiyans may regrow their tails at times if they have been severed. They transform
into Oozara form under real or artificial full moon light if they have a tail. This
tail is prehensile, but characters with their tail attached have -1CS reason rank,
due to their savage nature. Their tails are very sensitive and grabbing their
tail or damaging it does +2CS to the Saiyan. A Saiyan with his tail grabbed by
another is paralyzed for that duration while his tail is being successfully held.

Saiyan Characters who have at least a power rank of 350 automatically gain the
ability of True flight.

The initial power level of Saiyan character is his Physical stats (F,A,S,E,)
multiplied by Pi (3.14).

Saiyans automatically have the memorized moves: Saiyan energy blast, Saiyan
energy shield, and Moonball. All Saiyan characters also have martial Arts A and
E. A Saiyan character starts with these moves in addition to 2 of his own.

Saiyans may also charge themselves up with their Power up stats level to regain
that numbers worth of power level points.

After a Saiyan has lost all of his power, and taken further physical damage, he
gets 150 points added to his maximum power level.

All Saiyans have normal human type stats in their basest of forms, but they have
twice the number of health points then they normally should. None of their initial
stats may be above GD10 (which would provide 20 health points). All pure blooded
Saiyans have black hair which never grows.

Oozara Form
This is the Giant Monkey-warrior form of the Saiyan race.

Oozara have three times the number of power points as the transforming character.
All energy or ranged attacks come out of their mouths.
Because of the raging beast like nature, the oozara form has a maximum reason of
PR4. they do not always think logically, either.

Oozara have EX20 body armor, and stand 40-50 feet tall, so they are +3CS to hit.
An Oozara's physical stats are the new power levels stats according to chart 1,
plus 2 power levels, but a minimum of AM50 for any of the stats. For eg. If chart
1's power level gives a physical stats of IN40, the new Oozara stat is AM50, the
minimum. If the new power level on chart 1 is AM60, it becomes UN100.

They only revert back to their normal humanoid form, and only when they lose their
tail or the moonlight is gone.

An Oozara with his tail grabbed by another is paralyzed for that duration while
his tail is being successfully held.

Super Saiyan
There are three different levels of a Super Saiyan, levels, 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Additional points gained for use in Super Saiyan form do not count toward Power
Level points for Power level Advancement. All Powerup levels have 30 added to
them in any super Saiyan form.

A Super Saiyan is rare and only occurs when a Saiyan has a minimum power level
of 500,000. Also, it is only induced when there is an extreme need, or a traumatic
experience causes the transformation. After this, happens, the character knows
that they can transform and must work hard at transforming once again. After
this second, self-induced transformation, the Saiyan may transform into a Super-
Saiyan at will. Super Saiyans can be found on chart 2. Super Saiyans have tall
pointy tendrils of hair that turns to a golden color upon transformation and
they gain one additional automatic attack.

Super Saiyans gain an additional 500,000 power points as soon as they transform
into Super Saiyan form. They may only use these while in Super Saiyan form.

Super Saiyan level 2 is an increased level of the first form of Super Saiyan,
except they are slower and stronger. They have more muscle mass, physically,
and their hair is slightly longer.

At Super Saiyan level 2, they gain an additional 700,000 points to use while in
Super Saiyan form. Super Saiyan level 2 characters also gain only 1 extra attack.

At Super Saiyan level 3, the Saiyan has no eyebrows and grows extremely long hair.
They may make up to 3 additional attacks per round.

Super Saiyan level 4, the Saiyan grows fur on their bodies, their hair stays
black, their eyes turn black, their tail is present (or grows if necessary) and
they may turn into a golden Oozara. They have red fur covering their body except
for their head and chest. Their Physical stats are set at CL1000 and they gain
an additional 1,500,000 points to use in this form.

or invents new ones., and gains 100 points for every foe that he defeats,
300 for every foe that is more powerful than him.
Karma may be traded straight up for power level points at a ratio of 10 karma
to 9 power level points.

Saiyan attacks
Set moves (new ones may be learned or invented)

Saiyan energy blast, up to 80 force damage, point for point

original cost +10 to be let off right away.)

This is by no means a comprehensive list as these guys are constantly coming up
with new attack forms on-the-fly.
