Destiny's Path - The adventure so far.....

The 3rd Mensta in The Time of the Planting - 4499 AC

The call went out to any who would listen. A reward was to be given to any who could bring to justice those who plagued the boats of the Shankshire. Out of many who answered, six were chosen.

Palomir of Four Corners - A devout warrior of Eltyrium
Danyael of Baru - An elven Fighter
Kieran Kyle of Calvanon - A woodsman and scout
Oakin of Placid - An elven Priest of Whellosh
Nammoc the Red of Calvanon - A mage
'Lurk' - A secretive rogue

The six adventurers head up the Shankshire, stopping in Fairhaven first, then making there way to Devondale. On their way they encounter many obstacles, but eventually, in a great battle in Devondale, they defeat the River Raiders.

5th Zensta in The Time of the Planting - 4499 AC

Fairhaven is burned to the ground by the "Cult of the Black Sun". The party returns and picks up Allhana Asteres. Group heads back to Devondale, and then on to Freeport.

1st Basta in the Time of the Deer - 4499 AC

Group arrives in the capital city of Freeport. They are granted a brief audience with the King, who thanks them for warning him of the new "Cult" which is plaguing his lands to the south. King Aden assigns troops to travel to Rivercross to take care of the problem, and asks the adventurers to carry a sealed letter to the King of Nordica, King Kagen Forestand. The group is to travel to the capital city of Royalwind, in southern Nordica.

2nd Blesta in the Time of the Deer - 4499 AC

After encountering and defeating a pair of Hill Giants, the group loses their way and ends up north of the road to Royalwind. Eventually they end up in the north Nordican town of Barrenvale. Here, unfortunately, Lurk is inprisoned for alleged crimes of thievery. He pleads innocent. After an escape, and recapture, the rogue is eventually given temporary freedom under the word of Palomir, a Paladin of Eltyrium, who swears to return with Lurk after their mission, to see justice served.

2nd Basta in the Time of the Deer - 4499 AC

Party arrives in the small town of Shimmercove. There they meet Josepe, a young sailor who lives in the near empty village with his elderly mother. The group negotiates passage aboard his Ship to quicken the journey to Royalwind.

3rd Solsta in the Time of the Deer - 4499 AC

Ship lost at sea in a violent storm. Party washed a shore, and barely alive. Eventually they all find each other and make their way south. After much travel they eventually sit just north of the Nordican capital. Unfortunately, A huge Army of Orcs stands between the group and Royalwind. Lurk sneaks into the Orc camp. There he discovers two things, that the army is planning to invade the capital, and also, the orcs have the Royal Princess held hostage, and will use her as ransom to take over the city. The rogue is able to somehow get the pricess and her handmaiden out of the camp, and eventually, after a narrow escape, are able to flee to the capital.

3rd Mensta in the Time of the Deer - 4499 AC

After returning the royal princess safely, and warning the king of the invading army, the group is rewarded generously. However, upon leaving to return to Freeport, the group discovers that the orc army has begun to move toward the city. Returning quickly, the group tries to warn the king.

In a strange twist of events, the monarch opens his gates and declaring surrender, allows the Orcs to take control of the city. Danyael, after being granted a vision by the king's mage, and advisor, Astavius, somehow discovers that the wizard is actually behind the surrender. In a fearce battle, the group defeats Astavius, but not the royal guard. They are imprisoned.

It is in the dungeon that they meet for the first time, Ayla Ironwolf, A former songstress in the King's royal court. She claims that the King is not the tue king, but rather a impersonator placed there by Astavius. SHe introduces them to a man whom she claims is the true king. The man, apparently suffering from a loss of memory, is weak and unhealthy, but not dead.The group, now with Ayla and Kagen, once again are able to free themselves from certain demise. Once again it is with the help of Lurk, who managed to avoid imprisonment, as well as Nammoc, who also was absent at the time.

The party is led to the safe confines of an underground network of wizards, who have been working to defeat Astavius and restore the throne. Nammoc aids the group in escaping the city, now under Orc rule, but he decides to remain in the city, to help the mages in their new goal to usurp the now ruling orcs, and return the king to the throne. He asks the party to bring the King, who was the man Ayla had said, back to Freeport, to be protected by King Aden and his forces there.

At Nammoc's request, Jhontarie, a young wizard from North Velishnen, joins the group. Palomir is forced to leave, to get word to the ruler of the Breslow Highlands that Royalwind has been captured.

3rd Koksta in the Time of the Deer - 4499 AC

While battling a group of Gnolls, the party sees the return of Palomir. After a brief trip into the highlands, the paladin fought to save a border village from destruction by more invading Gnolls. The only people to survive the invasion were Palomir and a young Breslow warrior, SImond of Clan McCarvish. It was with the highlander that Palomir returned and helped the group defeat the monsters they fought.

4th Mensta in the Time of the Deer - 4499 AC

After delivering the King of Nordica to safety, Part is teleported to the sandy beaches of South Velishnen, to try to find a rescue Talice, Danyael's true love, and former priestess of Blesandra. It was in the vision that he was granted by Astavius that Danyael saw her, imprisoned and torchered. Uncertain of how much truth and how much falacy there was to the vision, Danyael asked the group to help him find her.

4th Koksta in the Time of the Deer - 4499 AC

After quickly locating the grand temple of Bastazorus, the group discovers a secret passage into it from the bowels of the church of Muddock. The priests there, lead by a cleric named Stellios, have been spying on the "cult" and have managed, through the power of their god, create an underground passage into the recesses of the evil church.

After much dungeon crawling, the group hacks their way to the underground temple of the cult, where to Danyael's horror, it is discovered that Talice has now become the high priestess of Bastazorus. In a well fought, and narrowly won victory, the group manages to escape with Talice.

1st Zensta in the Time of the Sun - 4499 AC

After narrowly escaping, the group heads north, to North Velishnen, the homeland of Jhontarie, for safety. In Lakeside they recieve a letter from Nammoc. In it he explains how Royalwind is sitll under control of the Orcs, and more importantly, that King Kagen, somehow, had been assasinated while under the supposed protection of King Aden. The group decides to leave immediately.

From Lakeside (Chez Lac), they travel to the kingdom capital of Vellington. In the capital Jhontarie meets with his mentor, Antonelle. The elder mage grants the group teleportation back to Calvanon. Once back in their home kingdom, the group heads immediately to Freeport.

Current Day - 2nd Koksta in the Time of the Sun - 4499 AC

After arriving back in Freeport, The companions split. Palomir is granted full knighthood, and shortly after his cerimony he departs for the north eastern warfront in Pristenia. Oakin also is forced to leave, having gotten word of a family crisis back in his home nation of Placid. With the group now reduced, Ayla requests an audience with the King. There she asks permission to hunt down the supposed assassin of her King. Her request is granted, and as aid to her cause, the King offers one of his spies, a rogue named Kaija, and a priestess from Calacos, Ebonna, to join them.

After some investigation it is determined that the killer, a woman by the name of Moira Nuniari, is to be found somewhere near or within the city of Alascar, a city nestled in the northern end of the "Forest of the Centerlands". The group, after arriving there, and narrowly escaping death at the hands of the city's greedy and decietful ruler, Lord Ileus Holmichael,have now found entrance into a lost city, buried deep underground. Now they seek to find and bring to justice Nuniari...
