Sid Meier's Civilizations

Rarely do I sit down to enjoy a single game of something, and find myself playing it ten to twelve hours later and EAGERLY awaiting the next session. No game does this better than Sid Meier's Civilizations. He is a true genius. This is the grand daddy of turn based strategy games. So many options! So many challenges! So much fun! If you haven't played it, do so now. Stop reading, go get the emulator and ROM and play! Or borrow the cartridge from Kevin. Trust me, you'll thank me for it. No other game took so many hours of my life in such a short span (except Gemstone III but that's another story entirely. And you can win peacefully, not that any of us ever consider that an option.
