Success!
Overall, the Rots Player Contest was a sucess. Despite some technical issues that caused
freezes and other bugs, the players persevered and were able to have a good time, for the most part.
In addition to having a good time, the players were able to test out a number of new features.

Ranking
In determining the final rankings, it is a very subjective process. However, one thing is certain:
A good player will work through adversity, and not be overcome by it. Therefore, the statement
"I tried to play, but the lag was too bad. The lag screwed everything up, and the best players won't
really be identified" is clearly false. In the words of a great master "Do. Or Do not. There is no Try."
Because of the nature of our game; lag, freezes, and all the other unpleasantness can never
be removed and have to be dealt with. Above all else, the rankings are just a way of recognizing
everyone who took the time this weekend to participate. If you have some major problem with the
rankings or the concept or anything else just remember - its all for fun.
