My Favorite Websiteswww.balisongxtreme.com - While I like knives, I think butterfly knives are probably the most fun to play with, just because you can flip them and toss them up in the air and stuff... not to mention slicing open parts of your hands. I've never gotten any serious cuts from my butterfly, though. This site here has the most balisong tricks I've ever seen on the internet, along with detailed descriptions and video clips of them. It's worth checking out if you want to learn how to at least look like a badass knife-fighting type person. www.harford.cc.md.us - Harford Community College's website. Not really something I visit daily, but it's my school's site, so I suppose it's noteworthy. www.KaZaA.com - KaZaA is a napster kind of thing. Just a file sharing program. This is the one I use to steal my music. Screw paying $15 a piece for CDs. www.thief-thecircle.com - Thief: The Circle of Stone and Shadow is a website dedicated to the games Thief and Thief II. As you can probably guess, in these games you get to be a thief, sneak around, kill people, and take stuff. The website has various resources for the game, namely a large stock of custom missions which you can download and play on your own (provided you have the game). Kind of interesting if you play Thief I or II. www.popupstopper.net - Pop-up adds are probably the most annoying aspect of the internet. Who the hell actually looks at those things? I know I don't. So I searched a bit and found this little program which sort of blocks them. Most of them anyway. You can pay for it, or download the free version, which is probably less effective, but hey, it's free. www.nma-fallout.com - Fallout is a really fun roleplaying game that takes place in a post-apocolyptic future where you get to run around in a wasteland and shoot people with shotguns and stuff like that. There is also a sequel, Fallout 2, and Fallout: Tactics, a squad based strategy game. No Mutants Allowed (NMA) has a bunch of Fallout related information and Fallout 3 gossip, so it's an interesting website if you've ever played this game. www.gunsamerica.com - I like knives, and I like guns too. I'm pretty much your average redneck republican. At this site you can browse through a selection of frequently overpriced and cool looking firearms. Make sure to check out the Class 3 sections for the full-auto assault rifle stuff, that's the best part. www.programmersheaven.com - This is a pretty good site for any of you programmer types out there. It's got tutorials, source code, and that kind of thing. My favorite feature is the forums, where you can get questions answered and exchange ideas and information with other computer dorks. www.loyola.edu - Loyola College's website. Not much information for such a nice college, but it's got a some information on the college, email access for student, plus registration stuff for anyone who's interesting in attending. Not too many pictures or anything like that. |
