Magical Healing is generally used by those with either natural spell casting abilities or those whom have been trained in the Arcane Arts.  Below you will find just a sampling of the spells available for use in healing the sick or injured.  If you require training in spell casting or wish training in magical healing, please contact Ilani Kinkaid

All spells below rely on the caster offering prayer and invoking the blessings of their god/goddess of healing or drawing upon the source of their magical abilities.  

Individual prayers and invocations may vary.  Generic prayers or invocations drawing upon nature's mana will also work with these spells.

Control Minds once a mage has invaded the subjects mind using Mental Impulse, he can control or alter the subjects mind or memory. He can cure or induce a cure for insanity, change memories, or set up perceptual barriers simular to post hynotic suggestions
Create Water can turn one drop of water into 4 gallons of water-can be used to flush out wounds and cool burns and fever
Cure Blindness or Deafness- by touching the creature effected can permanently restore some vision and hearing..this spell does not restore or repair damage caused by injury
Cure Critical Wounds cures near fatal wounds.  Normally conducted by placing hands upon affected area and offering prayers or invocation.
Cure Disease by placeing hand upon the afflicted creature, cures most diseases, including Lycanthropy ( were-ism) if cast within 3 days of infection...this WILL NOT cure aging diseases.
Cure Light Wounds by placing your hand on the wound of the creature or human you can cure non lethal wounds BUT this is not effective on fatal wounds nor can it be used to revive the dead nor can it be used on kindred or vampiric creatures cause they are technically dead
Cure Serious Wounds by placing hand on wound can cure serious wounds but not wounds on kindred or undead creatures..
Detect Illness/Poision can detect what ails the creature.  Can be done through mental invasion or scanning of the body
Dispel Magic can be used to neutralize magic that prevents healing
Light brightens area where caster selects so that the wounds can be inspected better
Mental Impulse subliminal suggestions; plant a single image or word into the subjects subconsciousness; can be used to ease pain
Neutralize Poision cures any poision known to man or beast..Normally conducted using an invoction spell
Remove Paralysis can remove magically induced paralysis...not effective against paralysis caused by injury
Remove Paralysis (Injury)- you must use dung-beatle balm placed upon the paralysed area.....a rather smelly balm especially if the creature is parapaligic or paralysed from neck down.  Though not a magical spell, it is used mostly by magical healers.
Speak with Dead- allows you to ask 3 questions of a deceased creature so long as the deceased has been dead less than 24 hours..a helpful spell during times of plague to find out whom the victim contracted disease from
Spell Immunity protects the caster or the creature touched from being effected by magic for 3 rounds..great for times of war when you are on the battlefield attempting to heal your comrads
