Ask the Master/Mistress if they would like service.
Acknowledge their request. (for black wine ask if they would like cream and sugars, ask if they care for a particular drink heated or chilled depending on location)
Rise and go to the servery. (It is nowhere in the books that you take three steps back but you may want to step back a respectable distance before you turn only cause its rude to turn your back in someones face esp considering that they will be on the floor and you are standing)
Find the appropriate receptacle for the drink or food.
Goblets~kalana, wines, water, juices, milk
Horn~mead or ale
cup ~Black wine, chocolate , 3 small cups for bazi tea
Bowl~paga, sul-paga, kalda, black wine
In a tavern, Inn or private residance, do not "inspect or clean" the goblet, as this is an insult to the owner/host.
it is proper though to inspect and wipe it down if you are outside in a camp or if you are in a place where it is likely to get dirty or chipped.
Fill the container.
If it comes in a bota or bottle (wines, paga, juice...), retrieve the bota/bottle and fill if wine generally to the second ring. you can fill it at the servery or at the Master/Mistress' feet depending on their and your preferance.
Black wine~Pour from the carafte at the firepit. Add a bowl of powdered bosk milk and a small plates of white and yellow sugars, and small spoons (for putting the sugars and stirring) to the tray (There are at least 4 types of sugars but which colors are not mentioned. only yellow and white).
Kal-da~ladle the kal-da into a bowl from a pot on the firepit. mix spices into the bowl. you can garnish it with a fruit.
Paga and Sul-Paga~ladle from the pot at the fire pit or paga can come from a bottle. Depends on their preferance
Mead or Ale ~ in a horn or tankard, mead may be heated
Bazi Tea ~ get the tea leaves from the container, make the tea. fill the 3 cups
bazi tea is heavily sugared ask if they would care for milk with it.
Return to the Master/Mistress. (be sensual and descriptive but not vulgar and always be respectful)
Kneel appropriate to your silks.
White ~ Tower
Red ~ Nadu, unless to a Mistress, as many are offended by that position.
If filling bottle and serving at thier feet remove the cork (some like to do this with their teeth).
Fill the vessel with the desired amount and replace the cork, setting the bottle to your side in case they may wish for more.
If serving black wine~Ask if they wish sugars and powdered bosk milk, if they say "second" that means black, if they say "yes", add the sugars and bosk milk and stir. (unless previously specified by the Master/Mistress before the serve and in that case you might wish to prepare it in the servery)
Move the vessle to your slave belly pressing it inwards slightly
If serving something hot bring to your cheek to check the temperature
Place a kiss on the SIDE of the vessel
Bowing your head, arms extended offer the beverage to the Master/Mistress
Tell the Master/Mistress what you bring them and how much pleasure it brought you to serve them
When the Master/Mistress take the vessel, return to your previous position,(wrists crossed in your lap for tower, palms on thighs for nadu) and wait to be released.
NOTE: do not ever put your lips to the rim. Not unless they specifically tell you to do so. The Master may not always be right but when it concerns a slave they are never wrong and you will do as you are told.
it is also a misconception that they ask to test for poison
but if they do pour some on your hand and lick it off Do Not Offer this

there are no referances to white ka-la-na or red sugars in the Norman scrolls you will see them commonly served here you will NOT offer these things.Ice is only found in the frigid polar north regions of Gor.
you will see a bunch of stuff other people do concerning 3 heartbeats and 3 steps back and bowing to 4 directions and all this other stuff
if that is the way Master or Mistress wishes you to do it then remember they are ALWAYS correct. but know that it is a specific preferance and you are not to do this for other people nor are you to offer it to others. do it if you are told to and that is it. Remember you are only slave.
