This .ZIP archive contains the files needed to play Exercise Foxtrot using the Cyberboard program. While Cyberboard can (and should) be used by players on the same computer to play Exercise Foxtrot (or any other game, for that matter), it works equally well for PBEM games (well, that's what it's mean for, actually). However, playing Exercise Foxtrot via email is a bit different from playing on one computer or with an actual board or models.
When Playing a PBEM game of Exercise Foxtrot, you will need a third party to be the Umpire. While an umpire is not required for a F2F (face to face) game - though having one is encouraged - it is impossible to PBEM without one. The reason for this is that the players' orders have to be written out and unveiled together. Without an umpire, one player must send their orders to the other, who must carry them out unsupervised. If you think you can be honest enough not to alter your orders once you see the opponent's - I don't believe you, and neither will your opponent. You probably are not. Thus, both players must write out their orders and send them to the umpire. The umpire sends each player a copy of the other's orders, and begins to carry them out, resolving combat along the way. Once the turn is complete, the umpire sends both players the updated board situation, and the next turn begins.
