OVERVIEW: Frioniel and the gang head to Bofsk. Borgan is now overseeing its construction instead of the Dark Knight. You head through the sewers to the warship but are too late. The Dark Knight is still there and takes off in the warship and attacks many towns. Cid, the King of Phin, and Hilda have some valuable information to help you stop it.

I. Bofsk and Borgan

-You're going to have to go to the town of Bofsk once more. To do so you'll have to go from Altea to Palm and then catch the boat to Poft. At Poft you can either take Cid's airship or take the walk to the east. Just depends on whether you want to spend 100 Gil or not.
-At Bofsk the Dark Knight has yet to return so you're more free to explore the town. If you didn't before, now may be a good time to pick up a Heal spell if you have the money. (It heals certain status effects.)
-In the Dark Knight's place is Borgan. Borgan is apparently very corrupt and much more lenient than the Dark Knight so you can get away with more than normal.
-Speaking of which, talk to this guy in the southwest corner of the town, the guy you couldn't get anything out of before. He'll talk about how lenient Borgan is and if you mention warship then he'll tell you that you can get to the warship from the sewers. Then he'll move and open the path to a staircase leading to the Bofsk Sewers.

II. Bofsk Sewers- Basement 1

-The Bofsk Sewers are nothing to worry about. There are only two short floors and there's no boss. The enemies aren't that difficult either.
-At the first split in the path head straight up instead of turning to the right and you'll end up at this treasure chest containing a long sword. You probably either have it already or own a mithril sword so sell it after you've left the city.
-Here simply head down instead of to the left. The path to the left leads to a dead end while heading down takes you closer to the stairs.
-You'll eventually come around to this long bow. Again you also probably have either this or a mithril bow so you can sell it when you leave as well. The stairs to the next level are to the east of this treasure.
III. Bofsk Sewers- Floor 1

-This floor is basically just a straightforward path. Make sure that you head east at the beginning of the floor and then simply follow the path around, it's quite a walk.
-At the end of the path you'll have a little suprise waiting for you, it's the Dark Knight! He's not gone he's been here the whole time. And what's worse is that the warship has been completed.
-He then goes on to say that he plans to destroy quite a bit with the warship and that he wants the rebellion to surrender. This is not good, but there's no way to stop him now.
-Borgan is also here but he seems 2nd in command to the Dark Knight and not very sure of himself. He even calls you spoony. You'll head outside just in time to see the warship take off. Wonder where it's heading? You'll find out soon enough. Head back into the sewers.
-Head down the path that Borgan came from and get the treasure containing a pass. This will come into play later in the game. For now either use exit or the star teleport thing to the east of the pass treasure to exit the sewers.
IV. Stopping the Warship

-The people of Bofsk have some new information for you about the warship. One tells you that it was headed for Poft. Another tells you that you should ask Cid for help. You might as well, you have to pass through Poft to get to Altea anyways.
-Head back to Poft. The warship has come and gone from Poft. It doesn't look as though anything has happened from the outside but unfortuantely the situation is quite the opposite.
-This lady informs you that many died when the warship came. You can tell take a look around, there are considerably less people than there were before. The pub that was once packed now only has 2 people, Cid and his assistant. The warship defintely took its toll on Poft.
-Speaking of Cid ask him about his airship and he'll reveal that his airship uses the sun flame for power. And that an excess in the sun flame can be fatal to a ship, hmmmm... sounds like a good way to destroy a certain warship. Make sure that you learn the keyword sun flame and then take the ship back to Palm.
-Palm was also hit hard by the warship. You'll notice that many of its people are also gone. (Mysteriously the shop owners seem fine and are conducting business as if nothing had happened.) Nothing to see in Palm other than the destruction, head back to Altea.
-Altea was also struck by the warship. There are no people walking around in Altea. They're all in the main building with Hilda. There are quite a few people in here, this guy informs you that Gordon is now missing. Now go and talk with Hilda, but before you do unequip Minh, he's about to leave your party so take all his stuff before he leaves.
-Hilda is also very worried about the recent attacks of the warship. She says that her father has deteriorated. Ok... we'll go see him in a minute.
-She wants to stay with her father, but she wants you to help her destroy the warship more than ever now. Minh also leaves your party to help the king as well. Mention sun flame to Hilda and she'll tell you that it's Kashuon's emblem and is on it's castle's first floor. Interesting, now go and talk with the king in the room to the right of Hilda's room.
-Ask Minh about the sun flame as well. He'll tell you that you need to hold the sun flame on an egil torch for purification.
-Now ask the king about the sun flame and he'll tell you that you need a goddess bell to open the gate in Kashuon. Now go back and talk with Hilda.
-Ask Hilda about the goddess bell and she'll tell you that Josef knows something about it. Guess you have to make another trip to Salmando.

-Review: Just in case you didn't quite get what's happening in the last little bit of this part here's the low down. Airships like the warship are powered by sun flame. Throwing some excess sun flame into the engine of the warship can cause some serious problems. The sun flame is located on the first floor of Kashuon's castle but it can only be taken by the Egil Torch which is located on the highest floor of Kashuon Castle. In order to get to the torch you need a goddess bell to unlock the door. Josef in Salmando knows where to get the bell so go and see him next.
