Part 11- The Airship

On this floor head around head into the room with 3 treasure chests and a bunch of holes in the ground. Don't step on the holes until you get the 2 treasure chests that you are able to get. The one on the left has a very valuable flame sword, the other has a cloth so don't even bother. Forget the middle chest for now, you'll be back for it later. Fall down any of the holes, you go to the same place.
You'll end up in this little room. Taking a step forward plots you against several undead creatures so be prepared. Make sure you don't take a step back or you'll have to fight the fight over again.
Step a little ways down and you'll notice 3 paths and some strange looking floor. Stepping on this floor reduces your HP a little. You can't avoid it just don't step on it more than necessary. The right path is a dead end so forget it. Head on the left path first.
There are two chests in this room the right one contains an ice armor and the left one contains a silver gauntlet. However, there is a frost dragon fight in front of the ice armor (the strongest armor at this point in the game). So, don't bother with the silver gauntlets if you're low on power, it's not worth another fight with the dragons.
Next take the bottom path. From this path make sure you go straight down. Don't go to the sides they have no treasure, eventually you'll find a room full of treasure. They includes: 7900G, 9900G, 5000G, 5450G, 180G, and 12350G! A ton of money.
From the treasure room, head back up the path and turn to the east at the first intersection. Head to the east to find the stairs to the next level.
Now your back on the original floor. You'll find two treasure chests containing a HEAL and 10000G. Then you'll come to a room with 3 treasure chests containing 4500G a TENT and an ice shield. DO NOT TAKE THE STAIRS IN THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THIS PICTURE. These will lead you back outside, you don't want to do that yet, instead fall down the hole in this room.
You'll fall down near the chest that you were unable to get before. However, there is an eye guarding it. The eye isn't that hard, the thing to watch for is his spells that can kill you in one hit. You are very lucky if he doesn't knock of at least one of your characters. Keep in mind where you fought him though, because once you get some prorings this is one of the best spots to gain experience in the game.
Now open the chest to find the FLOATER. Now that you've gotten everything that you've came for it's time to get out of here. Head back down one of the holes to fall to the next floor.
You'll head back into that little room again, where you'll have to fight the big battle against undead creatures once again. After this head dead south again.
Head south until you reach this point where you'll want to head right and head that way until you reach the stairs up to the next level. This will take you to the original floor.
Remember these stairs that I told you not to take before? Well, take them now. This will take you back outside the ice cave. Use a TENT/CABIN/HOUSE immediately to save your game. Then head back in you canoe to your ship and then take the ship to Crescent Lake to do some healing.
Back in Crescent Lake heal yourself. Stay at the inn and revive any characters you need to. Then buy all the magic you couldn't afford before. (I told you that you'd have plenty of money.) Remember to leave that spot for EXIT though. After that kiss Crescent Lake goodbye and head for your ship.
This time take your ship south from where it's docked until you come to this river. Your heading to the big desert on the left of this picture. Take you canoe up one move and then walk to the left.
When you're in the desert go to item menu and use the floater. An airship will rise from the desert just for you! This will make the game extrememly less tedious.
One of the best things about the airship is that there are no random battles. You can also land on any grass space. It also moves about 4X the speed of the boat. Cruise around for a while before heading to your next destination.

-Having the airship makes traveling much easier, next we'll use it to travel to some places that before were unreachable.
