BACKGROUND

The Phantoms are the creation of Dr. Boris Kelrov. To many a brillant scientist to others a raving lunatic. In the year 2506 Dr. Kelorv began to conduct illegal experiments on the deceased. In the year 2511 Kelrov had succeeded in bringin the dead back to life. His experiment worked like this. Dr.Kelrov had a contact of his from the morgue bring in people who had died no more than 36 hours ago. He actually took the brain of the deceased out of the persons head and placed it in the helmet high tech suite of armor he had spent many years of work on.

He connected several tubes and wires into the brain and gave it several shocks impulses...finally after a dozen or more shocks the brain was stimulated back to life, of course before this experiment he had failed many times before though. By using special wires which are connected to the Phantoms brain he wiped out the subjects past emory and gave him/her a new past. The brain is hooked up to virtually every part of the powered armor so that upon thought it could move were it wanted. The Phantom was made so that upon thought it could speak using a highly technological voice amplifier. The amplifier is connected to the brain by way of electronic wires

In the year 2512 Kelrov was arrested and sentenced to life in prison for commiting these illegal actions. Over 120 his subjects were confiscated, and taken to an underground military bunker. Later on in the year 2519 the military used these Phantoms in battle as Black Op troops during a raid on the rebel base of Angalli. A year later an unknown group entered the lab which these Phantoms were kept. The unknown group released all Phantoms from their cylindrical test tubes. Military later speculted it was the rebel forces that had done this.

MODIFICATIONS

Playing As a Phantom Means that you can install special parts such as Infra Red Optics,Hydralic Leg Enhancements, and thicker outter armor. Note that Phantoms cannot wear normal armor, their only protection is their powered armor suite. You can buy these enhacements in the Shopping District. These parts are expensive though, so expect to dish out a good bit of money.

SIDE EFFECTS

The Phantoms past memory is lost because of the shock impulses the brain recieved to be stimulated back to life. Phantoms do however have occasional flashbacks which they must piece together to figure out their past. Sometimes the flashbacks are so intense the brain will ether fry itself within minutes or temporarily shutdown. If the brain shuts down a back up system boots up and gives the brain shock treatment to stimulate it once more. Overall the restimulation process takes about 6 to 8 minutes.

RESISTANCES AND WEAKNESSES

No poison can harm them since their armor blocks the poison out. Even if poison manages to seep through the armor, the system has a built in filter which filters the poison back out. Phantoms take an extra +2 damage if hit by liquid substances, and they also take d6+2 damage from Telepathy because their mind isnt stronng enough to handle it.
