FIRST CONTACT

First Contact with the Nautilis came not long after the Calypso were discovered. Not long after the Nautilis were discovered it was found out that they hadnt developed star farring technlogy. Like the Lylaris the Nautilis are somewhat primative, but in the area of submersable technology they excell greatly. They use weapons such as Bolas,Cast Nets, Crossbows, and Hunting Spears to catch their prey.

HOMEWORLD

The Nautilis's homeworld is Akruh... for along time now they have lived in peace for the most part with the Calypso. The Nautilis prefered the deep oceans to the dry land so they took refuge underwater. First they lived in the massive Coral Reefs of the world, but later they built a large underwater city the humans called Great Reef. The city of Great Reefis made of stone building. The larger building made in a tall rectangular shape, the smaller ones made of half spheres. Near the city is what the Nautilis consider a forest. The forest is made of Hydrogen plants, that if poped they explode violently. These Hydrogen Forest are spread sparcelly all along Akruh's ocean floor. The Nautilis Species is still quite small, only 10,000 or so still live today.

DISCRIPTION

A mature Nautilis stands about 5' to 6'4 in height and weighs around 150 to 275lbs. Between their fingers and toes are webs which help them swim twice as fast as a human can underwater. Under their cheek bones are gills which help them breath for long periods of time under water. They have no ears, instead they use their sense of smell and sight to guide them along. Their hearing is very low due to not having anything to amplify sound in their ear. They have 3 toes which are spread wide from each other, and on their toes are small talons. Also on their fingers are small talons. Their teeth are sharp and serated to slice fish into tiny bits. Their scales can be all shades of blue or green, the females scales tend to be a lighter version of those colors though. Their tails can grow to be 4 feet long, which is good bcause their tails allow them to swim faster. They look very much like blue humanoid lizards in appearance.
