HISTORY

On a nearby Star system between that of Earth and the Arcion federation, lies the system Terrabeta. A small system with only a handful of planets, six of them to be exact. Alphaporcani is the largest and home to the Earth loving race of the Echidnae. This race was discovered by the Arcion Federation and used for heavy labor as their minds are not that advanced unlike there neighbors. Their planet is mineral rich but most of this is in precious gems not metals.

DISCRIPTION

They stand 3 to 4 feet in height and weight from 300 to 450 pounds. Echidnae look like hedgehogs, or a porcupine though there spines are blunter and do not come off unless shed. Their simple minds are a appriciated by those using them for labor, as they live upon a high gravity world and are one of the most physically strong races. Their technology is a bit primitive, this was one of the factors which led to the Arcion Federation's conquest of them. The the nearby Bristoli have, for many centuries worked for the Echidnae's freedom which was achieved 200 years ago. Most Echidnae are still used for heavy labor, but are now paid for their extraordinary skill. Due to the Echidnae living on a High gravity world The lifting capacity is 1.5 that of a normal gravity creature of the same strength.
