HISTORY

the Psionic Race of the Bristoli are an anceint race liveing near the Echidnae and were instrumental in the negotions of them being granted their freedom. This was mostly accomplished with there superb talent in the psionic arts. Most oftenyou will have encounters the Females of this species as males are rare and seldom live long after breeding

    They resemble insects, as do there counter parts the Vug both of which live in the same sector of space with Echidnae. Due to there long history the exact planet is unknown. They stand from 5'7 feet in height, their exoskeletons colors can be anything from light green to dark brown. They have long tapered fingers that act as a wicked blade having three on each upper arm and a thumb. Below these they have a smaller pair consisting of small pincers, these mostly used in manipulation of things. Their heads are like that of a mantis this image not helped by their anatomy consisting of 4 long legs similer to a cricket. They stand upright and have a large thoraz similer to a mantis. Their large thoraz drags a bit on the ground.

Their exoskeleton is quite hard granting them a +5% Soak.

    The Bristoli have more then one brain placed along there body in the head chest, and thorax as well as a few hearts allowing them to take massive damage. The Bristoli aren't dead until they are at -20 hp or below. They can still move and act at -5 hp, but only at half Hit% and Evade%.

They rely mostly on there blade like fingers which deal d6 damage at a +5% to hit, but due to their small arms and biological structure they suffer -10% to hit when useing guns and melee weapons. They can use certain weapons when custom made for them but most rely on there own natral abilitys.

The Bristoli can also spit a sticky solvent at a range of 30ft. or less, which is be used as a called shot at -10%. If hit a person cannot move or act for d4 rounds. A Strength check may be made at a -5 to break free of the sticky solvent.
