Iavasi's Guide to Pottery and
Thurgadin Gate Potions!
Quick easy way to pottery skill 140+. I have my pottery skill to 140 and
haven't had any failures on making the gate potions yet. Dag has a skill
of 122 and he has failed a few times. I don't believe this is the cheapest
route, but it can be done in about an hour or two tops.
The best place for this is Thurgadin, since it is all there in the bank,
except for water which is around the corner at meat shop.

3 crystalline silks
2 glass shards
1 small brick of velium
(results in an unfired vial) |
| Step 2
Combine in kiln:
Unfired vial from above
High quality firing sheet
(results in fired vial) |
| Step 3
Go to Frundle Frenkler in the Potion shop across from the
Paladins guild and say:
"What velium vapors?"
She will give you 4 slot container.
(When you ask make sure you have an empty backpack slot. If
your vial is in your only empty backpack slot when you ask her, IT
WILL VANISH.) |

Combine in 4 slot container:
Fired vial
2 small pieces of velium
Results in a LORE, NO DROP Thurgadin Gate potion. |
| Notes:
All ingredients are to be placed in separate
spots in their respective containers.
* Small pieces of Velium, Crystalline Silks, and
Small Bricks of Velium can be found in Crystal Caverns.
**This potion is used in the "Coldain
Prayer Shawl Quest", but can be used by all. |
