1. Download mIRC, and run it.
2. when you first load mIRC, a window titled "mIRC Options" should pop up. That's the menu we want to be in right now. If you ever need to get here again, simply click on the Folder/Hammer icon right below the "Tools" pull down menu.
3. Click on the "add" button on the right hand side.
4. For Description, say something like "Divine Light"
5. For IRC server, type in excalibur.ga.us.mystical.net
6. For Port(s), put in 6667
7. Once you've done all that, click OK.
8. Almost finished! Now click "Connect to IRC Server"
9. Now a menu called "mIRC channels Folder" should pop up. type in #light and hit join.
10. Congratulations, All done!

If you don't wish to download mIRC, by far the most convientient way to use IRC, then you can login to our server with this chat applet. IRC chat Applet When a pop up appears asking you Yes or No if you want to download the jpilot thingy, just click yes. It's not really a download. KaN should be in the channel. Type in light instead, and then click connect. You're set!
