On the planet Arkania, a man learned the definition of pain....

Arkania; a planet in the Perave system, known for its vast diamond mines and also as the birth place of the great Jedi Master Arca Jeth.

Arkanians were known as the galaxy's mad scientists. They possesed a gift for manipulating science and technology. They have milky-white eyes and four-fingered, clawed hands.

The Arkanians conquered the neighboring Yaka system, and proceeded with medical experiments to enhance the intelligence of the stocky, slow-witted Yaka by implanting cybernetic brain links.

Success turned the Yaka into one of the most intelligent species in the galaxy. So intelligent that most beings find them thoroughly inscrutable, with a bizarre sense of humor to match.

Thousands of years since Arca taught Jedi Knights, and some years after the fall of the Empire, the Arkanian government made what would become yet another black mark in the history books. In the hopes of giving the galaxy something better to remember Arkanians for,and following in the rumors of the rebirth of the Jedi Knights, the Arkanians decided to bring back Arca Jeth...or to be more precise, create a powerful Jedi Master in Arca's image.

Finding a child strong in the Force, they took it upon themselves to train him from the journals of Arca Jeth. They proceeded with the young one's training in secret complexes underground on Arkania with the hopes of not attracting the attention of the New Republice or Luke Skywalker's Jedi Academy. The government decided to have their scientists use the process they had used on the Yaka generations before; on their young Jedi-to-be, in the hopes of creating the ultimate defender for their planet.

The experiment was a success. The cybernetic implants, while granting intellegince rivaled by none, had one major side effect....the boy fell into Dementia. He adjusted poorly at first, lashing out at his teachers...his creators ..so to speak.

Time passed, no matter what they tried, the Arkanians could not get control of the Jedi. Eventually as years passed , they were forced to lock him away. They did not kill him , for they wished to continue experimenting to find out what went wrong and if it could be corrected.

Finally, sensing the growing danger as the boy grew in power, The young jedi; now in his early twenties; was schedualed for termination.
