Physical Description:
-Vehicle Mode: In his alternate mode, Vox resembles a Kawasaki-type motorcycle. He is solidly constructed, with thick, all-terrain tires and a good suspension system. His body forms the centre of the motorcycle, with his legs sticking out at the back to form the exhaust system. A windshield and handlebars rise up from his forward edge when he is transporting someone, but otherwise, they remain in a small subspace compartment. He has a pair of lights, one on the front and back, both of which are mounted mid-way up. His engine and exhaust systems are larger than normal, indications of just how much speed Vox can produce when he needs to. A small compartment on either side, located approximately where a rider’s knees would be, can open to reveal a pair of medium-charge laser pistols. Small gaps in his tires mark egress points for all-terrain spikes. His colouring is mostly black, with dark red on the lower front sides.
-Transformation: During transformation from vehicle to robot, Vox’ arms fold out from where they rest against his chest, and his wheels slide up onto his back. His arms rotate at the shoulder so that they are facing forwards, and his hands extend out from his lower arm. His suspension system folds back into his neck and lower back, then rotates to rest just behind his shoulders, holding his wheels in place. His legs slide down, until they reached his hips, and then they slide into position easily. His head comes up from inside his chest, and a his headlights are absorbed inside his body.
-Robot Mode: In robot mode, Vox is fairly small, at least compared to his progenitor, Blades. Built for speed over power, he relies heavily on his small size and extreme speed, something his smaller frame is well suited to. His head is rectangular, with a little less than half the length extending backwards off his neck. His eyes are deep red, and are basically the only noticeable things on his head. He generally has no visible mouth, only a covering where it would be, but if the situation requires it he can draw the faceplate off to the side, revealing a smallish mouth. His torso is black, and his shoulders are mostly just a ball-and-socket joint. He has shoulder pads over his shoulders, though they are basically just overhanging pieces of deep red metal, and from his shoulders, his arms extend. His upper and lower arms are rectangular, the lower a little wider around than the upper, with a visible ball-and-socket joint at the elbow, and a five-fingered hand at the end of his lower arm. The fingers are thin and able to provide extremely fine dexterity. His legs are relatively powerful, though like the rest of him, still thin. They are rectangular, with a knee cover coming up from the front of his lower leg, which is a bit wider around than his upper leg. In the side of each leg is a small compartment, which slides outwards to reveal his pistols. A small cylinder connects his lower and upper legs in the back, a cylinder that extends and contracts when he walks. His feet are made up of a rectangle in the centre, with visible joints on both sides, and a flexible metal ‘toe’ coming off the front and the back. His motorcycle wheels hang centred on his back, and when he enables his flight mode, they slide up so that they are at a right angle to his body, with the hubcaps pointing upwards. If he needs them, he can also detach them and extend the spiked tread, to serve as a weapon or climbing instrument.

Abilities:
-Flight: Assisted: In robot mode, Vox can use his motorcycle wheels as a propulsion unit. Both wheels have an anti-gravitic generator located in the centre, capable of lifting him to a maximum height of one hundred and fifty feet from any surface. They do not, however, work in a vacuum, unless he is pushing off a stable object.
-Intelligence: As well as having a neural net capable of storing trillions of terraquads of data, Vox is capable of patching into ship-board computers, planet based datanets or installation networks to enhance his own abilities, as well as to search for information.
-Computer Infiltration: Being intimately familiar with data processing and encryption procedures, he is a natural-born hacker. His datajack, a system he has perfected by using his own rather unique nature as a starting point, enables him to outthink, outmanoeuvre and ‘outgun’ most computer defence systems, given a reasonable amount of time and a quiet place to do his work.
-Silent Running: Technology that Vox obtained in return for Crazyhorse’s drones and a new body, Vox implemented a scaled-down version of Crazyhorse’s system into his own body. When activated, Vox can run absolutely silent, but it can be turned off to allow him normal communication.

Weapons:
-Laser Pistols x2:Stored in his leg holsters, Vox’ laser pistols are of medium power and range. Capable of doing noticeable, though not severe, damage to small or medium bots with a blast, Vox is by no means armed to take on anything larger than a medium sized Transformer.
-Daggers x2: Located in concealed compartments in his forearms, Vox is as good with a blade as his ‘creator’, though his lower strength and higher speed make smaller, lighter weapons his choice. The blades are six inches long, with a monofilament edge on only one side.
-Wheels x2: Clumsy and inelegant, these are weapons of absolute last resort. The spikes mounted inside can extend to a length of two inches, and there is a connector in the centre that locks onto his outer forearm. However, their mass makes them rather impractical as close combat weapons, though it does add to its ability to bludgeon an opponent with a lucky hit.

Equipment:
-Datajack: The datajack is actually two pieces of equipment. The first is a small input socket on the right side of the back of his head, around the base of his skull. The second is a small black cylinder, with a plug that fits into the input socket on one end and a wire that plugs into any computer input port. The wire is coiled inside, and can be pulled out to a length of two feet. It recoils automatically when he squeezes it.
-Datapad: Basic equipment. Vox carries several pads around on him, usually dedicated to information on the condition of his fellow Vehicons, Megatron’s Head, and the Destronger. He also has several more in his quarters, covering a wide range of topics.
-Quantum Particle Generator: An experimental device that Vox obtained from Crazyhorse, this generator allows Vox bursts of extreme speed in robot mode. It works alongside his normal engine.
-Flute: A small flute, made of thinly pressed metal , measuring a little over six inches. It is held down, rather than out to the side, and produces an airy, high-pitched sound. There are no decorations or marks on it.

Personality: Vox is, to modify a Terran term, a true Renaissance Bot. He has very eclectic tastes and a thirst for knowledge, a combination which manifests itself as abilities in various fields. Thanks to his early time as a computer program, and the information he took into himself as he grew, Vox is quite intelligent. He knows this, but his humility keeps him grounded. He does not go out of his way to make others feel inferior, and is more than willing to teach them when he has the time. His intelligence often comes out in the quality of work he undertakes, whether it’s realigning the Destronger’s sensor dish for better resolution or creating a stable quantum field to harness chronoton particles. Of course, science is not Vox’ only passion. He is also quite interested in art, having gained a keen eye for sculpture especially from Blades, and is quite the musician, as well. His ability with the flute is nothing short of miraculous, though again he does not boast of it.
One of the most surprising things about Vox, coming as he does from Blades’ mind, is his attitude. Whereas Blades is now a rather looser and easier going figure, Vox is still a rather straight-laced and upstanding bot. He is professional and competent in his work, and his relationships with his crewmates are always above reproach. He is a gentleman and an officer, as the Terrans say, but that does not preclude him from noticing, and appreciating, a beautiful fem. He is quick with a complement where deserved, and can be quite the conversationalist if given the chance. Though he is a skilled warrior, being in the frontlines of combat does not appeal to Vox. He is mindful of his own limitations, never throwing himself needlessly into a situation he cannot handle, and he knows that his body and armaments are better suited for reconnaissance and intelligence gathering than being in the thick of the battle. This should not, however, be taken as a sign of weakness or cowardice. If the situation requires it, Vox will fight a more powerful foe, or sell his own life for that of any other Loyalist Vehicon. And, of course, Vox is always willing to back up his compatriots, should they need it.
Vox’ loyalty to Megatron is far from absolute. He has seen the Vehicon Supreme Commander make foolish or foolhardy decisions on too many occasions for that. However, he recognises Megatron as the lesser of the evils available. He distrusts the Angel’s motives, and finds the Brotherhood’s crudely self-imposed stewardship of Cybertron little more than a smokescreen to hide a megalomaniacal bid for power. Thus, he is forced to work for Megatron and the Loyalists, something he might not normally do were there any other options. His reluctant acceptance, however, does not imply disloyalty on his part; at least, not unless a more powerful and competent fourth power appears.

History: When Unicron attacked, the Brotherhood seized the opportunity to take control of Megatron’s Head and release the sparks. In the process, the rogue Vehicon Bombshell used the Head’s computers to begin deletion of shell programs in the remaining Loyalist Vehicons. Though some felt nothing in particular, or just a slight tingle, Blades sensed impending death. Being a creation purely of the shell program, and radically different from the spark it had been imposed over, Blades knew that deletion was the same as death. However, he had prepared for this eventuality for some time now, ever since the Brotherhood had started flexing its military muscle, in fact. Blades’ best plan was Project: Matrix, in which his shell program, his true self, was transferred into a suitable computer system until a new body could be created for it. Nevertheless, the plan was untested, and so Blades was playing a wild card when he hurled his mind into the Destronger’s computer, abandoning his shell milliseconds before a self-destruct program blew the spark contained inside to oblivion.
Blades existed inside the Destronger for a time, orchestrating the defence of Cybertron and the creation of his new body from inside the ship’s computer systems. When he finally was reborn in his own custom-built body, he left an echo in all the systems he had passed through. The echo began to pull towards other echoes, incorporating bits and pieces of Blades as it learned and grew. As Blades became aware of this, he set it to guard his newly created fortress, built from the rubble of the Destron. Content for a time as merely a guard and a housekeeper, the mind soon had to flee that dwelling when Burnout attempted to destroy it. Hopping from the Destron to Blades’ mind, it found a relatively safe existence there. It allowed itself to be used by Blades, hunting for information or infiltrating computer systems for him, but as it grew in power and self-awareness, it decided that this was still not enough for it. When Blades dispatched it to broker a deal with the monstrous Vehicon Crazyhorse, the voice realised that it desired the same thing Crazyhorse did; a body it could happily inhabit. However, in the post-apocalyptic time the Vehicons have found themselves living in, material for the creation of a new form has been few and exceedingly far between, not to mention the proper facilities to assemble the parts in.
However, the voice finally grew tired of waiting, and after the ancient supercomputer Vector Sigma recreated Cybertron, it finally acted on its own. Using a few of the drones still in storage on the Destronger, it managed to gather enough raw materials to begin construction. Hijacking sickbay tools and machinery, and using the drones as well, it managed to fashion a suitable form for itself, but to its own specifications. However, it didn’t have the one thing it truly needed; a spark. Without one, the body could not be animated.
The voice, however, was resourceful. It contacted Blades and informed him of it’s predicament, and Blades responded by capturing a Maximal spark. Opting to follow his creator, however, the voice sacrificed the spark to light off another of the ancient laser cores, powering it’s body with the same energies that had driven the great First Generation Transformers. Online and running smoothly, the voice had only one last step to complete. It named itself Vox.
