Physical Description:
Beast Mode: In beast mode, Shadowmane is a solid black stallion, right down to his haunting black eyes. His black main is very long, and flows when he moves.
-Robot Mode: In robot mode, his horse's head comes down onto his chest. His "skin" has the properties of a chameleon, blending in with dark settings, rendering him very hard to detect when very still. However, in bright light, the effect is completely negated. His body is black, with gray joints. When he transforms, he glows purple. Like in beast mode, he has haunting black eyes, with a depth that stretches to time immemorial. There is a deep anger and pain in them that can be barely percieved, like he has lost something, or someone dear to him in the past. They also have a fierceness that is almost scary, and have been known to un-nerve even the boldest of bots. His has very long hair. He keeps part of it flowing freely and worn over his shoulders, the rest he has tied in a queue at the top of his head.

Abilities:
-Marksmanship: Shadowmane is deadly with an energy weapon. Unfortunately, he never carries one anymore, choosing blunt and bladed weapons to do his job for him.
-Swordsmanship: Shadowmane is a very deadly swordsman and prides himself on this fact.
-Acrobatic: Shadowmane is very acrobatic. He uses this ability in battle to dodge and attack.

Weapons:
-Scimitars: Shadowmane has two scimitars. They are able to cut through most armors except for the heaviest.
-Throwing Daggers: Tucked into the feathers of his wings, he has throwing daggars. They can cut through most light to medium armor and only do damage to the area they hit.
Blaster Pistol: Kept hidden in the Onyx, it's used for last resort. It is an impact blaster, it's shot exploding on impact, causing concussion damage as well as energy damage.
-Sniper Blaster: Kept in a carrying case in the Onyx. It delivers a concentrated energy blast that both ionizes and explodes, causing massive damage to the system. Shadowmane usually aims for the spark.

Powers:
-Energy Burst: Shadowmane has a natural energy burst that he uses as a last resort, as it drains him energy that he feels could be better used in fighting. The energy burst forms a ring around him and goes out to a range of 20 meters. It forms an ionized pulse that will temporarily knock out all energy sources within the effected zone for a period of one hour (of course, this effects bots differently; for transformers, it acts as a stun blast that will knock someone with a stamina of less than 5 out and temporarily stun anyone with a stamina of less than 10 for a period of 1 minute for every point under 10). This blast has a stunning effect on humaniod lifeforms too. It will render them unconcious.
-Limited Chameleon: Shadowmane is able to blend in with surfaces in the dark, but light negates this ability. It seems to be part of the powers he gained when he was turned into a techno-organic.

Equipment:
-The Onyx: A small, black, four man attack shuttle shaped like a falcon with forward swept wings. It is equipped with laser blasters and a bank of concussion missles (10 missles in each bank) on each wing. It isn't very fast, but has a shielding system that can hold out until a solution can be placed into the jump engine, provided it's not outnumbered too badly. It has an old style jump engine and electric thrusters, which are powered by a small nuclear reactor. The Onyx is painted with a stealth coating that absorbs light and heat. This makes the ship hard to detect, but by no means undetectable.
-Holopad: This is an encrypted pad with holovids and information pertenent only to Shadowmane. Kind of like a personal diary.

Personality: Very aloof and mysterious. Shadowmane doesn't like revealing information about himself. He feels it opens him up and makes him appear weak. He abhors weakness in himself, and will mock it in others. He seems to have an eversion to all factions, and has no use for the current war that is on. This seems to come more from something in his past. He just doesn't seem to care who wins, as long as they leave him alone. If approached, he will act civil, but give only the information being asked. If pushed, he will get very curt, and if bothered, he is liable to react violently. He usually give a verbal warning, though, before getting violent.

History: Shadowmane was born a Maximal named Streak. His original form was an albino Peregrine falcon. He served the Maximals proudly for centuries. After his mate was killed in an accident during the last war, he lost the will to fight. He was captured in a Predicon raid shortly thereafter. In his grief, he chose to fight for the Predicons, not caring if he lived or died. He was able to change his form during this war when he went into stasis lock. In order to get his systems back up, the Predicons had to replace most of his body. When they re-activated him, his scanner scanned a stallion in a nearby valley. When he woke up, he saw his new form and decided to change his name to Dark Stallion. He became a famous Predicon assassin after that, and prided himself on the fact that the Maximals didn't know who he really was. Then, after the war was over, the realization of what he had done hit him. He couldn't go back to the Maximals and he didn't belong to the Predicons, no matter how many battle honors he won. Being an assassin for them had put a dark blight on his spark, and he felt that he needed to get away from it all. He forswore both factions and began living the life of a hermit. Then, Megatron took over Cybertron and imprisoned his spark. Since the rebirth of Cybertron, Shadowmane has been trying to live peacefully. He felt that he had seen enough of war. Then the Trans-Organic War began. After a fight broke out in his neighborhood that crashed into his home, he promptly ran the two fighters through and declared war on both factions. He decided to go to the source of the war to try to take out the leaders. He feels that if the leaders are taken out, the war will end.
