Being a material used by a group of Techno-Organics, or Neobiotics, called the Triad, Darke is a black substance of unknown origin, but is used by the Triad as armor.The armor is intigrated into the bodies of the enemies which is why they are mostly grayscale in appearance.

1) The armor super enhances all tolerances to damage and enviromental effects.
2) Absorbs all know forms of energy, inculding spark energy. (This requires direct contact) Yes they can drain a transformers energy with contact.
3) The above renders all energy attacks completly useless aginst Darke Armor, Physical attacks quickly drain the opponent as their contact slowly drains energy reserves.

How to beat it:
-Heavy Ballistic weapons are the best bet or very strong physical hit and run attacks.
