His attacks are a little short though.

Probably the most popular X-Men character. Wolverine comes from Canada, but that's about the only thing known about him. Everything else is shrouded in mystery...including his age. Wolverine has remained lightly distanced from most of his fellow members. However, he's always been close to Storm and Jean and has shared a brother-like relationship with Dazzler, Shadowcat, and Jubilee. Wolverine's claws prove to be just as powerful in-game as they are in the comics. His Mutant Power slices up any enemies directly in front of him and hsi regular attacks have about the same range as Storm's.

Thought to have been a goddess. Her tribe worshiped her as one, offering her anything for rain. Storm grew up an orphan, so she had to learn to take care of herself...in which case she became a pickpocket. Then in Cairo an African Tribe began worshipping her as a goddess. Professor X found and recruited her when his original team of X-Men were captured by an Island Monster. Storm quickly adapted as a fighter. Her skills is what made Professor X put her second in command of the X-Men. Many don't know this, but Storm is one of the most powerful mutants...if not the most powerful mutant alive. Her rod gives her a little more distance when attacking, and her Electrocuting ground attack is pretty cool. Her Lightning Tornado swirls around the screen takeing out any enemies straight in front of it.

Professor X found Nightcrawler in Germany where he was being chased by angry villagers. His appearance gives off the image of an evil demon, but he's a saint at heart. Nightcrawler has the power of heightened agility and teleportation. He's good in-game and his Teleportaion Mutant Power covers the entire screen!

Not many people know of Dazzler. Mostly because she was only a member during the 80's-early 90's. But she's actually more popular than one would think, infact at one point she was the most popular Mavel character. She became associated with every known hero in the Marvel universe...she appeared in many comic books and eventually got her own long running series. But she has since then been in comic limbo. I'm personally glad Konami included her in this game, as I think she's one of the coolest mutants ever. Initially a singing sensation, the Dazzler was found by the X-Men at a night club where they informed her of the whole situation of mutants being hunted down. Dazzler did not join the X-Men then, but continued to sing. Later, Malice (an evil being who posseses others) took over Dazzler's body to destroy the X-Men. After vanquishing Malice from her body, Dazzler was recruited by Storm. Dazzler's ability to turn sound into light was constantly used as a gig at her shows. But she has honed her abilities and can know channel that light into laser beams, photon blasts, and sonic explosions. Her attacks are really good and her throw attack, which is actually a cartwheel, takes out multiple enemies. Her High-Intensity Sonic Light Blast is also extremely useful as it explodes upon hitting the ground and radiates a huge area. It is rumored that Marvel will b bring Dazzler back, she may appear in an X-Men Unlimited issue and is also rumored to be having her own movie being made.
