One of the three goddesses that govern destiny. She was sent to Midgard by Odin and Freya to collect the souls of fallen warriors to aid the Aesir gods in the battle that awaits in Asgard. She's pretty cold...yet there's some human warmth to her at times. Lenneth is her true name.

In-battle:
Valkyrie can equip both swords and bows, giving her a somewhat edge over some enemies. She combos extremely well and her DME, Strength, Defence, and Speed are above average. Her special is also good and has three different forms.

He's what you'd expect of a warrior...a jerk and loner. He appears to only care for himself, however, after killing himself and being recruited by Valkyrie he'll (big suprise) change. He says some of the stupidest stuff in the game...like one time he picks up some grass and watches the wind blow it and says "Are you just a blade of grass to be blown in the wind?"...wow, an intellectual warrior (bah hah hah)

In-battle:
Despite his stupid character, Arngrim's great in battle. A fairly good special as well as above average stats.

The hot tempered princess of Artolia. Jelanda has very little tolerance and it is her inability to keep her mouth shut that gets her kidnapped. She is given a potion that turns her into a raving demon. Wth no other way of helping...Valkyrie, Freya, and Arngrim slay her.

In-battle:
As the first mage you get, Jelanda may at first seem weak. But if you allow her to level up properly she can turn out to be a great asset and one of the most powerful mages. Which is a good thing since mages have nothing that make them any mre different than another mage besides some of their stats.

When both her parents died she was adopted by a SHinto priest. She was brought up to inherit the shrine duties, which the priest's now deseased daughter used to do. Nanami goes through the process of soul transfer to bring the other girl back.

Yumei is a mermaid who can change into human form at will. She was searching for her true father and the Lapis Lazuli, which grants any wish. She tries to hide her pain and sorrow, but after learning that her father is dead and that the Lapis Lazuli is a myth, she kills herself by swimming into a huge whirlpool.

I really like Lucian in battle. He combos great and he hits treasure chests and magic gems out of enemies like crazy! You're pretty much assured to knock a treasure chest out of the enemy if he's in your party. However, his special is only average.

A siren by both beauty and voice. Shiho was blessed with a voice of purity, but cursed by blindess. Shiho's purpose as a song maiden was to give the warriors on the battlefield courage and hope through her singing voice. But when she refused to sing all the warriors died and she was found by a man named Suo from the enemy's troops. He brings her to his captain, who then kills her.

She changes by the time she officially joins your party. She no longer has only one attack, but three...very cool laser attacks. She doesn't combo too well with the others, but she can set them up for one. Her Special is very high damaging.
