Bas's Arrival to Moorgate

I was raised in the Meadows outside of Darkwell. My mother was an Hill Giant Shaman and My father was an Ogre, who was part of the Guard detail to protect the king. I was always short for my kin and therefore picked on by my older brothers who were almost twice my size. I would always wander the causeways dodging Travelers from the town of moorgate.

Upon wandering the Causeways one day I ran into another Ogre weilding a bow, this was quite strange to me as I have never seen one of my kind wield anything but a sword or a club. I followed this Ogre around for a few days, although it was tough to keep up with him, as he kept disappearing into the trees that inhabbited Darkwell. One day I stumbled upon a Troll Elder and a giant spider. Needless to say I was sure I was a goner. The Ogre I was following jumped out of the trees and slew the two faster than I have seen any ogre move, save for the elite Heros that I heard about to the north in Bitter Point Valley.

After giving me a strange herb to help my wounds, He Introduced himself as Marik. He scolded me for following him for the last few days and said if I was going to wander the Woods and Causeways alone I should learn to defend myself. I then began my training with a heavy Crossbow. After a few months of training he told me I should head to Moorgate and join a guild that would further my studies. I could either pursue a path of a warrior or Learn to heal and help others in battle.

I made my way to the Town. I looked around and found two guilds that appealed to my liking. the Mages Guild and the Fighters Guild. I asked around some and got directions to the adventure's guild. I headed there with great haste.

Once There i was conforted with choices as I read the signs. Would be Mages head this way, The next sign read Would be fighters head this way. I did some soul searching for the better part of a day and then decided that I would join the Mages Guild. For although I would of loved to show my Brother and Father that I was just as good a warrior as them. I knew that my heart lay in the direction of knowledge far beyond that of combat. Plus My mother always said that I was the most intellegent Ogre she had ever seen.

So with that in hand I followed my way to seek the magical knowledge I so craved. Once I arrived there I realised That i couldn't jump that high and needed another means to be accepted as a mage guild memeber. I headed back to the adventures guild and asked John Ironchin if he new of away I could fly. "You will need the help of a mage or ask the bartender if he has in nectar around". Confused a bit I headed to the bar and asked Two-hands if he had any nectar. He said he did and I was happy to pay the price. off I went to acquire that which I need to enter the Mages Guild and so began My adventure.
