Monks Guild
The monks guild is a peaceful place of worship; that is not to say that monks never fight - alas, the world is such a terrible place that the good brothers had to learn to fight with their bare hands. Their ability to use the gifts of nature is second to none. The monks guild is based in the city of MOORGATE. Monks that rise the required level can call upon a number of elements to ride upon, from White Tigers to Golden Mists.Monks gain an aura of mysticism when they join the guild. They also learn the art of scroll writing. Indeed at later levels monks can scribe the mightiest spells onto parchment. Being a monk is half way between all the other guilds, they can fight though not as well as Fighters, they can master the silent ways but not as well as Thieves and they learn magical arts that can only be rivalled by the Mages guild. The Monks guild is a tough choice for any mortal, its a hard life, you will be frustrated often and have to stand and watch while other guilds members appear to do better in the world than yourself. To be a Monk is a calling, if you can hack it, you will do well. In the guild you will find ways to make scrolls and potions, great beasts to ride around on, secrets to uncover and quests to test your ability in the art of questing. Mage's Guild
The Mages Guild is perhaps the most powerful guild in the land. They have a huge membership that gives all the casters of spells a home. There are definite schools of magic at work within the guild (The Coven being one)The Coven believe that magic is a powerful force that should only be used by people who understand it. They seek to increase their power and understanding at all times. The Coven enjoy adventure and seek out new challenges to stretch their mighty skills. Serenites are the traditional choice for users of the magical arts. It is a collection of spell casters that strive to improve the world and work wonders with their spells. Amongst the Serenites are those who can wield the most powerful spells. All Mage members gain a staff that is empowered with several spells and abilities. In the guild you will find ways to make wands , rods and potions, beasts to ride around on, secrets to uncover and quests to test your ability in the art of Magic. Fighter's Guild
The fighters guild is home to the war mongers of the realm. This is where you will learn the way of the weapon. Fighters can generally be broken into three types (Knights, Rangers and Barbarians)Each are catered for within the walls of the Fighters Guild The knight one of the oldest fighter styles in MOORGATE. They are the proud and true upholders of the law. A knight gives his very soul to the order and the art. Knights are respected and feared for their awesome combat ability. People who look to this road are usually true, strong-hearted people that want to protect the innocents of Legends of Cosrin. Rangers are the hunt-masters of the Fighters guild - usually favoring the bow as their primary weapon. They are aware of the balance and toll nature takes upon all creatures, intelliegent or not, and have skills that enables them to be surviving in the most extreme conditions. Barbarians take the attitude that holding a two handed weapon and being covered in blood is the only way to go about life. Barbarians are not the brightest of people, they like to let their weapons do all the talking.
