Before you enter I would just like to take a few moments to thank everyone who has donated to the collection over the years and still continue to. This place will always be available to any who wish to read until such a time as it turns to dust and dissappears.
Please be patient with the material, new collections and the lack of regular updates. Remember that I don't get paid for these efforts, I do them simply for those who are both curious and inquisitive. Most of the material comes to me in simple text form and requires alot of rework in order to be presented.
So thanks again to those of you who continue still in my absence to offer material. The library is now well over a hundred scrolls, books and materials. Enjoy and should you have any further questions or materials you wish to donate, please contact me at whyarentthereany@hotmail.com.
And now, a note from Karli...
Karli’s Notes To Visitors of the Library
Not once, but twice so far has there been accidents with my library collection. Firstly was a fire of which I’m sure having stored so much bliss in the room couldn’t have been avoided. The second was a fire as well, questionable to say the least after I had been approached and requested that I remove certain information dealing with certain events that so certainly were not so uncertain as to make them a non-topic of discussion. Regardless, I have done my best to gather up what was left of the collection after each event and rewrite them to be reviewed.
On other matters, I wish the reader to be patient with the quality of some of the scrolls. There have been some legendary story tellers who for the life of them could barely write common as horribly as they spoke it. I’m still untangling many of their tongues… If you can bear with me on this, I’ll bare with the scrolls and surmise what was being attempted to say in many of the older scrolls. It’s much much easier to simply duplicate a scroll when drunk then it is to revise it. Besides, being a rogue most all my life, no one should expect me to be that educated really. In fact, you all should be wondering who wrote this for me… indeed.
Rules of the Library:
1. No smoking. I’ve had it up to the tips of my pointed ears with ignition sources around such aged papers and scrolls.
2. No drinking. Unless you leave me some and it better be alcoholic.
3. No drinking non-alcoholic drinks.
4. No drinking alcoholic drinks while smoking or operating lanterns or candles.
5. Don’t dog ear pages, spill alcoholic beverages on papers or otherwise damage anything in the collection. Some of these scrolls and books are over a hundred years old… and they were… collected by my… grandmother. Trust me on this…
6. Trust the owner of the library, even feel inclined to leave large sums of money and alcohol in the library for ‘safe keeping’.
