Well, I guess it's all over... No more track for me in high school. It's really hard to say how I feel right now, I mean I'm sad, of course, but it's almost like I'm not sad. Ya know? I want to keep running, but I don't feel anything right now. I think I'm just numb. But, I've never been to Regionals to run before, that was one of the best things that happened this year. There were so many good things that happened this track season though, it's hard to put a number on each. I suppose chronologically is the best way to go:

Wednesday, May 9 -- 4 X 800 becomes NLL champions
Friday, May 11 -- First time I ever break 2:00 in the 800 (1:59.8), I placed 3rd. Our 4 X 400 wins league. Our team becomes back-to-back-to-back champions, that means 3-peat.
Thursday, May 17 -- Run at districts in the 4 X 800, I run a 2:00.6 but everyone else sucks. That's ok though, I also qualified for finals in the open 8.
Saturday, May 19 -- First time I ever break 1:59 in the 800 (1:58.98), I placed 7th. Our 4 X 400 placed 4th with a new school record (3:22.40), and we qualified for the Regional meet at Amherst.
Thursday, May 24 -- I run in the 4 X 400 relay at Regionals. We placed 3rd in our heat to qualify for finals.
Saturday, May 26 -- I run in the 4 X 400 relay at Regional Finals. We placed 8th overall with our worst time in three meets, but I left the meet happy and sad, kind of a bittersweet ending to a great year. Our 4 X 400 ends it's season as one of the top 32 teams in the entire state of Ohio. -Thanks to the 4 X 400 for taking me that far.

Those are just a number of awesome things that happened this season, not to mention the great times we all had at invitationals, eating out, track picnic, and of course, doing repeat 4's on the track. I'm going to miss everyone of my track buddies, and if I haven't invited you to my graduation party you are all invited. If you need directions and the date and time, give me a call, I mean it, you can all come. Thank you to everyone, for making this such a great year, I didn't want it to end...
