The day began like
any other. I woke up really late that day, it was 12:15pm. I had a late night
the day before and I just started my new job where I had to wake up at 6:15am
all week. That's no fun, so I just wanted to catch up on my sleep on that Saturday.
So I woke up, had some breakfast, and went for a run later that afternoon. It
was a hot one that day, the high expected to be around 90 degrees on the Fahrenheit
scale. A bit toasty, wouldn't you say? That evening my friends and I had planned
on going to Grosse Ile, Michigan for a fireworks show at a yacht club. Sounded
like a good time, so I packed the camera, knowing there would be some great
picture opportunities. And there were, click here for
more of them.
Anyhow, the fireworks
were going great, until the grand finale. Boom, boom, bang! Thing were crazy!
And then it happened, one of the fireworks went out of control, right into the
nuclear power plant that was right next door. It sparked the biggest fire that
I had ever seen in my life, and I started to run. I found out that running would
not help at all, the fire had cause a nuclear meltdown, we were all going to
be mutated sooner or later. Since I figured anything I did after that would
not much matter, I got a good seat and started taking pictures of people. The
picture above is of Anna T., one of the victims. They say her color will never
return to normal, however, that third arm that she grew will be removed.
