I'm an engineer...

Yeah, so this is what I'm doing in school. Playing with Legos. It's all good though, I enjoy it! These are pictures of our robot taken during my Introduction to electrical and computer engineering class, AKA ECE. We have been playing with some Legos for the past few weeks now, but don't fret, there is a purpose. What we're doing now is designing our own robot that has to complete some certain tasks. You think this is child's play? Well you are wrong. This is some hardcore engineering stuff. Can't you see all the gears and stuff? Oh, by the way, this is just after the first day that we took these pictures, so we're not done yet.

The object of this project is this: we are to create a robot that starts at a certain location. When our program starts, the robot will move to a certain location where it will pick up a ball that is sitting on a stand. After that, the robot will then move to another location where it will place the ball into a basket. Crazy stuff, eh? I hope that we can get everything to work out ok...I'll be sure to fill you in with more details, and hopefully more pictures if I get to take more.
