Gryffins are large creatures, with the body of a lion, and the head and wings
of an eagle or hawk. They are magical, and rarely seen.
They are fierce fighters, and guard their territory with deadly pricision.
They live up to 250 years, and have 1 child at a time, raising it with tenderness and
fierce loyalty. They live in family groups consisting of
the mated pair and up to 2 children.
Allied to the elves, they sometimes help them out by acting as messangers for them, and
carrying them around. They live anywhere warm, especially the boreal forests.
