Dwarves are one of the minor races of Midnight. They are short in stature, and usually very strong. The
men are usually extremely proud of their beards, and would rather die than cut them off. Even the women grow
whiskers. They are extremely good at crafting things, and excell in such areas as metalcraft, wood carving,
and stone work.
Most live in the Kharolis mountains,
though some have come out of their traditional
mountain homes to live in the foothills. They are a very proud race, and also very stubborn. They prefer to
weild larg, two-handed battle axes, though they do use other weapons off hand.
They live around 800 years, and mature at the age of 150.
The heirarchy of dwarves is very strict, and when rules are disobeyed, they will 'Cast Out' the perpretrator,
which is feared worse than death in most instances.
