In the dark, they seem to glow and emit a stunning green light all of their own. Family: She is not married, nor does Marii have any children. Marii did have a love interest though whose name was Arkrin. This young man by chance was the prince of the Arkadian Empire and soon to be king. Kin: Adoptive Father - Euryda, the rest of Marii's family is unknown due to her abandonment as an infant Occupation: Bounty Hunter - After fleeing from her hometown of Arkadia, Marii needed a way to make a living for herself. Since she was highly trained in the art of saber combat, it was a just decision that Marii pursue the career of Bounty Hunting. She's quite well known for her skills, conquests, and ruthlessness.

Interests: Saber wielding - Ever since the age of five, Marii has had her saber, Aeetes, right beside her. Being highly trained in this area of combat, Marii takes great pride and interest about the origin and techniques of this art form.

Goals in life: Marii's goals in life are quite simply put, "Avenging my father's death is but only the beginning of my journey…my dreams rise above the clouds."

Miscellaneous background: When Marii was born, her father was so disappointed that she was not a male child that he left her exposed in the country side, hoping that she would die of starvation, illness, or from an assault by wild animals. However, a female bear found the infant and nursed Marii as if she were it's own bear cub. Later, when a pair Royal Guardians found her they took her home to their town and one of the men decided to rear her in his living quarters within the kingdom's castle. Marii's now adoptive father was known as Euryda, a well - known Guardian of the royal monarch who ruled the small kingdom of Arkadia in which he resided. Because of Euryda's high rank within the community, Marii received many opportunities to learn new and interesting skills or hobbies. At the age of 17, when a girl is considered a woman, Marii took Euryda's place in the ranks, becoming a female Guardian of the empire and it's monarch. It was during her time as a Royal Guardian that she grew close to one of the empire's nobles, Prince Arkrin, the next heir to the throne of Arkadia. Their relationship was neither looked down upon or encouraged, for they met in secret.

Though, constant skirmishes and battles erupted between the empire and the barbaric tribes of the North, who were thirsty for land and wealth. This one tribe unparticular was quite ruthless and unforgiving, and soon, Marii and the Arkadian Empire succumbed under the chronic fights. In the midst of all this, the king, queen, and many nobles were done away with, including Marii's own father and love interest. Not wishing to stay and face her own demise, Marii ran away from the city, living off the land, and the local bounties given for outlaws captured or killed.

General Persona: Marii has energy, drive, and ambition, but also an almost excessively strong-willed and independent nature. While she is creative, inventive, and ingenious in practical matters, and always ready to initiate and promote new undertakings, Marii often experiences difficulty in bringing her undertakings to a successful conclusion because of her own changing interests or varying circumstances. Marii becomes intensely involved with everything she plans to do, but the stress arising from frustrating obstacles or misunderstandings with others could prompt her to be intolerant and sarcastic in expression, with breakdowns in congenial relations with family and friends becoming a possible end result. Weapon: Aeetes - A very beautiful saber passed down to Marii when she became a Royal Guardian. Double bladed, silver-plated, it's most definitely her pride and joy. The hilt of Aeetes is accented with the same gems as her armor, which are colored red, and a light, almost periwinkle like purple. The upper shaft of the saber that leads up to it's blade is a midnight black and becomes more slender as it approaches Aeetes' silver blade. Usually strapped upon Marii's back for easy access. Can channel the user's life energy for enhanced physical attacks.

Strengths: Tactful and cunning when engaged in sword to sword combat. Marii can most definitely be labeled "An Accomplished Swordswoman."

Has a way with both sexes.

Weaknesses: Her emotional outbursts or moods register as tension in her solar plexus, resulting in nervous indigestion and related problems.

Tension also centers in the head affecting the eyes, ears, sinuses, or teeth, sometimes causing immense pain.

Has a weak left ankle, due to an incident in Marii's early childhood while training to become a Royal Guardian.
