Miscellaneous background: Her mother walked out when she was about three. Although she misses her, it doesn't effect anything she does. The only thing she has to remember her mother was a small, silver star locket. The thing is, no one can open it.
She was nicknamed Cassi by her brother, and it stuck. Most of her childhood was spent traveling because of her father's job. They never stayed in one place for very long because he wanted to give her career of singing a boost.
According to her father, her love of singing came from her mother, and the love of swimming came from her grandmother. No one knows she's a hybrid (not like she would go around announcing it...)
She doesn't have many friends, if any. Even though she and her father were close, she left home when she was 15.
She can fly, as in spread hidden wings, although it only comes in effect if she really needs to, and not for pleasure.
